The B&B is beautifully designed. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Lovely view from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious! Sabina made it so special for us. A short walk to the ancient ruins was a plus.

It was very close to the main train station, 5 min walk. The room was comfortable, clean and well located. We were 10-15 min walk to the island (Ortigia). Stefania was a wonderful host and prepared a fresh breakfast every morning with local treats. I would stay there again.
The stairs up to the first level, where the main entry was, were a challenge with big suitcases. However, it only a challenge when one arrives and when one leaves.

Ortigia’s Gate was perfect! It is the best accommodation we’ve had in Italy and I highly recommend it. The breakfast is incredible- delicious fresh filled pastries both savoury and sweet as well as cereals etc. The room is modern, clean and newly renovated. We also had a little balcony. The location was also excellent: a few minutes walk from the bus & train station & very close to restaurants & walking to Ortigia. Stesania is a lovely host, so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there!
