Comfortable, renovated hotel, near the old town and the main road, only problem was the smell of tobacco in the room but this improved with leaving the window open when I was out.

The Hotel Ciclamina was located in a v good place to explore Siracusa and Ortigia. It was also opposite a park and close to shops and a good supermarket. It was a delight to be collected from the station and brought to the hotel and similarly to be returned to the station at the end of the stay. The owner was extremely friendly, which made for a great start to the stay and he was happy to be contacted with any queries at any time.
The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. Wi fi connection was very good. Access was secure.
I managed to leave some clothes in the wardrobe when I left (!). The owner contacted me to let me know and even checked out prices to send them back to the UK.
I felt well looked after and would certainly recommend the hotel. (Despite the unseasonal rain and Etna Eruption!!)
