It was just what we needed for a one night stay in Syracuse. It’s a 20 min walk to Ortigia which is one of the nicest towns in Sicily. The included breakfast is not a buffet but a choice of either salty/sweet pastry and a coffee drink/tea, but it was great! I would recommend the cafe downstairs that provides it.
One of the rooms that we booked was a studio apartment and it was a bit warm, the air conditioning didn’t travel from one room to the other. On the other hand, if you are staying for a longer period, that would be the room I would get since it has a mini kitchen, big fridge and plenty of storage space

Location and a walking distance to the Ortigia island. Not that bad with the parking in the area, but it’s mostly toll. Maybe it was not bad due to the low season.
Very weird apartment. Kitchen is almost not equipped. Dirty plates, cups, glasses. Bed linen had spots, seemed like it hasn’t been laundered recently. Balcony is going inside the patio, but there were construction works, so everything is dirty. Two gas boilers on the balcony were working periodically, as they were serving a few neighbour apartments. They are small and very noisy. No chance to sit on the balcony or in the kitchen. Bed was hard with an old mattress. Owner definitely needs to invest in this apartment!
