Owner communicated where keys could be picked up
Shower area could have been a bit better - a bit mouldy

The location was lovely and it was an ideal base to explore the area
There was no privacy when using the hot tub as it is on decking at the Lane side and clearly visible from the other cottage so we didn't bother. The front door could do with a curtain as it is clear glass and looks straight into the lounge.

A lovely cottage with a beautiful vase of flowers to welcome us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We were very comfortable there.

A beautiful setting with a friendly and helpful host. Good breakfast.

The property had everything I needed for an overnight stay - comfortable and clean - a hot tub and use of property sauna great additions.
The tv remote didn't work even after asking for new batteries, pillows could be better quality and I felt it was a little overpriced for what it was.

Nice and quiet, lovely for a relaxing break.
The hot tub is a bonus.
The bed was uncomfortable that was the only thing everything else was lovely and cosy.

Quiet, secluded location. Hot tub (Lazy-Spa type) was always hot and clean, sauna was an added bonus and great value. Bed was nice and comfortable. Plenty cooking facilities and always plentiful hot water for cleaning and showers. Hosts were friendly and approachable, helpful with their local knowledge for things to do. Area was close to dark skies forest and the location of the cottage was a good area for watching the night skies. Had a lovely, relaxing time.

When I arrived at the property, the keys had been left in the door. I rang the owner (voicemail) to say I had arrived - but I didn't like to access the property as I was 30 mins early, and I hadn't yet paid. I sat on the decked area and the owner arrived at the check-in time. She very kindly said it was ok if I'd gone into the property though.
The location was rural, nice and quiet. There was a hot tub and a sauna (although the sauna wasn't mentioned to me) I did say I may not use the hot tub (it was a solo visit) and I was just there for 2 nights. The owner explained everything relevant, and mentioned there was no window in the bedroom - so a fan was provided, as it got rather warm. She was right! It was nice to sit outside and watch the Red Kites flying overhead. The property was up a track, away from the main road, and it was quiet and peaceful.
I love dogs, and the owner has 2 Bernese mountain dogs - which are lovely - but may concern some people as to their size and friendliness. The larger one did jump up and place his paws on my shoulders - and being a large heavy dog, I would advise people to just be aware of their strength! One did shoot into the cottage and come out with one of my shoes, which I had to wrestle off him - but the dogs are friendly and not ferocious. The property would really benefit from a window in the bedroom - it was stifling in there, so I did use the fan a lot through the night as I couldn't sleep. I opened the small window at the bottom of the stairs, but it wasn't enough. The property is basic, but adequate for a couple of nights. It's been converted from an old Dairy, but the finishing of paintwork and woodwork isn't good, and there are a few cobwebs here and there. On my first evening, I tried to relax on the sofa and do a little reading - but I found the sofa very uncomfortable, and ended up going to bed early. The TV is attached to the wall, and the sofa isn't in a good place to watch it, without getting a crick in your neck. On the second night, I decided to leave my car and go for a walk. However, after walking part way down the track - I was met by numerous cows, who took an interest in me - so I turned back. I'm a country girl and used to livestock - but this wasn't comfortable. So I headed back, and thought I'd give the hot tub a go - only to be met by the dogs, pushing past me to get into the cottage. I gave up, and had another early night - although like the previous night, couldn't sleep for the lack of air in the bedroom. As I do when I check out of somewhere, I strip the bed and leave the bedding folded for the 'changeover' (hoping I'm being helpful). I suggest the bedding needs replacing. That's all I'm saying.

The property offered just about adequate accommodation. The views were good.
No check in procedure. Had to find the property with the keys left in the door and assume it was correct. Had to ride motorcycles up the farm track, that in itself was not too much of a problem, however having to argue with a herd of cows/ bullocks roaming free was very scary. Had this been mentioned in the advert I would not have booked. Upon getting to the farmyard was greeted by 2 very large dogs roaming free and barking at us, again not expected. The hot tub had no privacy at all. No blind on the rear door window and the dogs just sat at the doors staring at us trying to cook our breakfast, without any suitable pans to use for our sausages we went to open our tin of beans instead but alas no can opener. Also only one towel between 2 of us in the bathroom. Very poor.

If you want a quiet secluded location this is superb. There’s a hot tub on the decking and a sauna across the road with a fantastic view of the valley which was pretty cool. Sauna was pretty hot! The room was functional and a little basic. Depending on your view it might add to the charm of its location. Reasonably price for what you got. No complaints and does what it says on the tin kind of place with a couple of nice extras.
Communication was not great and party because the owner was away on holiday. Not complaining here just could have been better. I don’t like paying outside of the booking app as well. We had a terrible experience in Palmer one year that I won’t go into. I’d have preferred just to pay through the site. Again not an issue, just my preference. We couldn’t work out how to get the telly to work so watch a movie on Netflix using my phone. It could do with a blind on the back of the entrance door.

Loved the location - right on the farm with beautiful views and close to town
No privacy screen for hot tub and the double bed is extremely creaky and wobbly

It was so private and secluded - very quiet, very clean, comfortable, warm and was everything we wanted. Would have been nice to know there was an air fryer and table top hob so we could have brought supplies.
As mentioned previously maybe a blind on the door.

Very friendly host who was welcoming and happy to leave us to do our thing no silly rules
Internal staircase quite steep so going downstairs during the night required care

Beautiful location, option to have breakfast in main B&B for £10 pp. Great location for exploring the local area and a hot tub to ease the aches and pains of walking. Good value for money as not expensive , and easy to find. Lovely and peaceful farm.
Main bed was uncomfortable and the cottage was rather rustic being a converted farm building. Required some dusting but man kitchen/bathroom and bedroom was clean and well presented.

We didn’t have the breakfast, we’d taken supplies. There was ample cooking facilities and we made use, we had a lovely break all our needs were catered for. It’s a typical farm property, if you go expecting that you’ll enjoy. It was mostly wet and wild, but viewed from a hot tub very pleasant. Thank you very much, we will be visiting again

Friendly host, nice location and TV and WiFi was fine once sorted . Decent sleep on bed.
Sadly a bit underwhelmed. The photos didn't reflect the low quality of finish throughout. Carpet on stairs was badly fitted, toilet seat loose, front door had dodgy lock and sofa felt more like a car seat. Only cooking facilities were a microwave, air fryer and a toaster. Felt more like a crash pad for a late guest rather than an apartment.

Very quiet location away from the normal hustle and bustle. Easy to find, and a beautiful location on Loch Ken. The unit was tidy and neat and everything we needed was in place. The fresh flowers were lovely - thank you.
A coat rack would have come in handy at the front door as we had no place to hang up wet jackets. Other than that, it was great.

The dairy is beautifully converted into a one bedroomed home tastefully decorated to a high standard and clean loved the stone floors downstairs in keeping with the original use of the building, stunning views lovely modern touches around the home.
