Boggle Dyke Cottage

Everything! Beautifully appointed, superbly clean and comfy cottage with everything we needed and more!

Nothing. It is on the side of a busy road, didn’t bother us as were used to traffic noise.

Parking was right outside. The keys were easy to collect. The garden was lovely. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a fireplace to light. The area was very quiet at night.

After booking, we found out that we had to pay an additional £30 for pet cleaning. We were there for 1 night, maybe 15 hours. It was a stop between London and near Inverness. If we were there for 2 weeks, it still would be £30. I find that a bit much. 😞 The place is fine for 2 adults. I would think that if there were 4 adults, it would be too cramped, especially if the weather was not nice. There is not enough dining space for 4 people. There is nothing in the area to walk to so if you wanted to eat out, you had to drive to the nearest town. If you wanted a lie in, lorries drive by starting at 8am and they pass right next to the cottage. The garden is lovely but the gate is low. If you have a dog that can jump, there may be a problem as the A road is right outside.
