Superb location with access to all parts of Dumfries and Galloway - lovely wooded walk just opposite the cottage and also a SPAR shop across the road for all our supplies. Enjoyed the Mill on the Fleet gallery/shop/cafe just behind the cottage.

Lots of charm- great location.
Was November and a cold snap, heating easy to use and was in use often but needs a draught excluder at the back door.

Perfect location, everything very convenient. Close to the shop, nearby restaurants, parkland and river with waterfowl, Visitor Centre etc, but at the same time quiet and relaxed. Car park just across the road with electric charging points.
Hard to think of anything disappointing. A cafetiere would have been useful. The knob on the banister needed fixing on.
