Too many stairs for my husband and toilet down stairs from the bedroom.

We were travelling on motorcycles and the space in the entrance hall was great for storing our boots, helmets etc. Location is perfect for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. Great pub opposite and the newly established wine bar just along is a gem.
There were lots of bric-à-brac items around which personally I found unnecessary and rather old fashioned - personal choice I know. Shower unit needs upgrading.
