Apartments Lomara

Nice shower, soaps available. Relatively close (with quite some steps) to the old town and supermarket.

Terrace was nice but full of mosquitoes. A bit expensive for the quality of the stay, but I guess Dubrovnik is expensive by itself.

Aircon in room, v quiet, nice location, clean, nice wee kitchen and fridge, good bathroom.

Check in was late. Travelling over 13 hours, I was exhausted and expected to get in at 15:00 sharp but had to wait outside in the heat another 15 minutes. No signage for Lomara, after lots of stairs, had to be brave and walk through residents private gates to find. Bed slightly uneven - had to change sides. No parking or drop off nearby - not the properties fault.

Good location short walk to the old town. Big terrace was peaceful with lovely views.

Room appeared to not be ready although we arrived 2 hours after check in time, host wanted to quality check which took 10 minutes. Room was basic very small kitchen area with dirty glasses and cutlery and no mugs (but were requested and provided). Hot water only lasts 5 mins so not enough for 2 people. Terrace was lovely but could be cleaner (host dog urinated and dog poo not cleaned up for our whole stay). Felt pressured to check out early by cleaner who went round all rooms stating she wanted to change towels and forgot we were checking out (although everyone appeared to be checking out). Main issue was bright emergency light at night lit up the room making it difficult to sleep. Shame as lovely spot but needs finer details.
