This home was great for our family & friends. The kitchen was huge and lovely, well stocked (except for Tupperware & ziploc bags), bring your own.Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the beach was just a quick walk up the street.We can’t wait to come back!

Pelican Watch is completely lovely and the listing holds true. We had a large, open Kitchen/Dining/Living space that gave everyone room and a large dining table for eating in and playing games. I highly recommend this home, it is in great shape and a wonderful spot for family and friends.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving and chose this house based on the huge kitchen for cooking. We were happy to find the kitchen was indeed huge and well stocked. It had everything we needed. The main bedroom is upstairs and the others are located on the main floor, so you do have to go up and down the stairs a bit. The hot tub was great, and getting to the beach was easy with a flat walk about a block away. Pacific city had dunes, so you do have to walk back up a small dune to get back up from the beach If you have anyone with mobility issues. The front deck has great peekaboo ocean views, so we enjoyed that a lot. We loved this house and would definitely rent it again.

We rented this place because of the ratings. Some parts of the house were not clean. For example, the can light in the bathroom on the first floor was full of cobwebs. The handles on the cabinets upstairs and downstairs were loose. The lower floor bathtub would not drain (maintenance did come out and fix it), meaning the cleaners could not have cleaned the tub. Many lights had burned out light bulbs. The smoke detector in my grandson's room was missing, and the one upstairs near the other bedroom was open and missing the battery (maintenance did come out and fix it). When we tried to use all the bar stools, the bolts fell out and almost collapsed. The same thing happened with the stool in the living room. It fell apart when my three-year-old grandchild moved it. The queen bed on the first floor was very uncomfortable. The large oversized couch in the living room has no support and is very uncomfortable. The beach access is a short walk, but there is a large dune that can be a challenge to climb down and climb back up (especially with two young children and their beach toys). It is a large house that, at one time, was awesome. However, right now, it needs some TLC to get it back to where it used to be.
