RIVERSIDE LOCATION SO YEAR ROUND FANTASTIC VIEWS THAT CHANGE WITH THE SEASON.
CABIN HAS BEEN TOTALLY RENOVATED WITH NEW KITCHEN & BATHROOM & NEW DECKING AREA OCTOBER 2021 & IT HAS NOW BEEN FULLY REDECORATED FEBRUARY 2022.
Smart Central Heating now installed so will be warm & cosy for winter.
We have had to remove all books, Xbox games & information leaflets at this time as per recommendation to prevent possible contamination so if you wish to use Xbox please bring your own games

At Glan Gwna Holiday Park set in 100 acres. On the edge of Snowdonia Park, 1 mile from Caernarfon.
3 Bedroom Detached Double Glazed Cabin With new large decking area (installed October 2021) with fantastic views over the river Seiont Below.
Bedroom details-
2 x Double Bedrooms & 1 bunk bedroom (bottom bunk is a double) NO PETS ALLOWED IN BEDROOMS.

Dogs are welcome but they must be kept off the furniture & not allowed in the bedrooms. (additional cleaning will be charged if dogs allowed in bedrooms)

Travel Cot also available if required (please bring your own bedding for this)

Bedding & Towels supplied.
Bathroom with Bath & Shower over the bath.
Lounge area with 2 leather sofas, 40" HD LED TV With Freeview.
Cabin also has televisions in 2 of the bedrooms & an Xbox 360 in bunk bedroom please bring your own games.

New Bathroom & Fitted Kitchen completed & all rooms have just been fully decorated & updated.

The Chalet is very well equipped with most items you would need. Central Heating installed October 2021 & Feature Fire, Iron & Ironing board provided & washing machine & dishwasher.

Facilities at Glan Gwna Holiday Park, North Wales

There are many facilities on the park all designed to ensure convenience and your enjoyment these include:

Outdoor heated swimming pool - open from End of May until September, enjoy those long summer days relaxing by the pool, sunbathing or enjoying a peaceful swim
Poolside bar - offering a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and food (usually opens March to end of October)
Route 66 Cafe & Restaurant (open all year round)serving beautiful home cooked food, great breakfasts & Sunday Lunches & fantastic Pizzas.
Shop - well stocked with daily papers and a good selection of essential groceries
Well fitted children's outdoor play area
River fishing for trout and salmon (£20 a day permit for river)
Coarse fishing on our well
Stocked private lake (£8 a day lake has nice Carp etc) plus great Sea Fishing nearby.

The Cabin is very relaxing. Great Walking & Cycling area.

Just a few places to visit:-Greenwood Forest Park, Gypsy Wood, Beddgelert Village,Caernarfon, Anglesey with lots of lovely beaches, National Slate Museum, Llanberis, Conwy, Penrhyn Castle, Plas Newydd, Bodnant Gardens, also the new £8 million centre has now opened on top of Snowdon with stunning views you can take the train up to the top of Snowdon. Dinas Dinlle Beach approx 5 miles. Portmeirion Village famous for the Prisoner.

There is so much to see and do around the area or just relax in the peace & quiet.

The kitchen and bathroom have been modernised and are perfectly fine. Except for the bathroom mirror which is so high on the wall you need to be over 5ft 8 to see in it! But everywhere else needs attention, the mattresses are lumpy and saggy, pillows old and poor quality and bed linen is very old and bobbly. There are no pillow or mattress protectors. Bedside lights dont work. A chest of drawers or just a shelf would be useful to put your toiletries/hairbrush etc on, had to keep mine on top of suitcase. Had to drag full length mirror, fortunately on wheels, out into lounge to put make up on and for access to a plug socket to dry hair. There are 3 large tv's and an X box and games, I felt I was in a man cave. I feel it lacks a woman's touch and would greatly benefit from some improved furniture and soft furnishings to make it more comfortable, cosy and practical. Sitting on the veranda listening to the river and watching the wildlife was great, we were even lucky enough to see a kingfisher. The holiday park itself is well maintained and very clean and tidy.

Excellent host, super location. Holiday site has good day amenities. Property in fairly good condition for a small-ish space for up to 6 people and animals, and compares fairly well to other self-catering I've booked in UK. Having the river running right next to the property is wonderful.

We had a fantastic weekend and Mum enjoyed sitting on the decking watching the wildlife on the river.(So did the dog) In our opinion the best sited cabin on the site. A lovely relaxed weekend, just what we needed after a few bad years for Us. We will definitely return and would like to say a big thank you to Howard for your help with our stay.

We spent 2 days in this lovely cabin, had perfect weather and a great time. My two teenagers enjoyed having a sleeping room for themselves, we sat on the terrace next to the river and took advantage of the heated pool. The living room is not particularly cosy but everything you need is there and in a good condition. The kitchen is quite well equipped and communication with the owner was easy. Would definitely come back.

All the mod cons and more. The beautiful decking looking onto the river is the perfect addition to the stay. We spent a lot of our stay there and truly enjoyed watching the wildlife. The surrounding mountains are beautiful and it was really located for our group which was a mix of younger hikers and older siteseers, everyone was within 20 minutes drive or walk of what they wanted from Gwynedd. Howard is also firendly and communicative.

View by Riverside absolutely stunning. Enjoyed eating my breakfast on the decking next to the river getting excited seeing a strange bird!!! Think it was a heron! Perfect location, the cabin had everything we needed except I would've liked some sort of vanity unit/shelf with mirror (the one in the bathroom was too high up for me) to do hair and makeup

The pics portrayed a idyllic countryside setting on the edge of a river bank which is what u saw from the decking but behind was a row of residential terraced houses with owners busy renovating cars etc. Wouldn't have booked chalet if I'd seen the rear. Checked in at 3 then headed to the bar for food and drink. Was rudely told at 15.50, the bar doesn't open until 16.00 and no dogs , yet dogs allowed in chalet. The sign outside said bar open and food served ftom 3pm . Asked about outdoor pool as I'd assumed that was open in May but told no, opens end of May /June.. We ordered drinks n asked for a food menu...restaurant closed as problems with oven. Finished a couple of drinks n went to the shop to get pizza or something to cook..shop was closed. We'd now had a drink and couldn't drive.. Check out is 10am far too early but to ve fair was glad to leave as nothing going on on the site anyway. All in all very disappointing. Won't be booking again .

We had a lovely stay at Glan Gwna, it’s perfectly located with beaches nearby and only a few mins drive to any town. The cabin was an ideal base for us and had everything we needed. Howard was brilliant at responding to any queries quickly and nothing was too much trouble! We will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely, relaxing 4 days in this lovely cabin, took our two Bichons who soon made themselves at home, the big veranda with secure gate was a big plus if you’ve got dogs. Cabin is very clean and comfortable and has everything you could need, even a hairdryer, I took mine in case it didn’t. Right on the river, loved the sound, just like rapids or a waterfall, very relaxing. Went to Caernarfon a couple of times which was lovely. Only complaint is the electric would be better included, we only used a couple of pound but had to get a £5 card. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend.

Although the accommodation was more than we expected, some aspects weren't up to standard namely:- the under dining table stools were very wobbly to the extent that we daren't use them. Also, the electic cooker often took some fiddling with to get the heated rings working. Surely these items should be checked before guests are accelerated. Other than these gripes it is a lovely site.

Chalet 241 was exactly as described. The location, by the side of the river was so peaceful, and so handy for site facilities. The facilities inside the chalet were spot on, and the decor has recently been upgraded. Many thanks for a great stay.

The campsite with outdoor pool and poolside bar/restaurant is great. The on site shop and cafe however were terrible ( I overheard a stressed mum with hungry children being told at 2.30pm "No. We don't serve pizza till 4 o'clock." I found this an odd rule and the staff rude.) The cabin was nice, fairly clean but could do with a refurbishment. Especially the sofa which is quite badly scratched but very comfortable. The outdoor seating area is good. Right next to the river, I found it very relaxing but couldn't help compare the seating to the cabin next door which was far superior. But as I say you get what you pay for and the price is very reasonable. There were 4 of us staying and we had enough space and storage but I think if there had been 7 of us we would have been cramped. All in all we had a pleasant stay in a lovely area on a budget.

We loved our stay in holiday home. It was by the river with good views. Property has all the facilities including kitchen appliances and utensils. So don’t bring anything as this property was equipped with all. I credited £5 electric card but not even used £1. So it was good value for money. Property was cleaned overall but one of the double room mattress require changing. We brought our pillows due to covid restrictions The location has it all so you don’t need to go anywhere, a shoot that sell essential, heated pool and good area to walk. I feel safe Neighbourhood were very friendly and gave good info around area. Thank you for great stay, we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely return

Had a fabulous weekend away with the family, the site itself was fine given we had great weather for it, shop could probably do with stocking a few more "essentials" and you don't children might start to get bored in the rainier months as there's not a lot for them to do indoors but all in all it was a lovely stay and so relaxing to just sit and chill out by the river. Only minor thing I would point out is the accommodation could have done with a little freshen up.. paint, new curtains things like that but more than adequate for what you need. Would definitely stay again!

Howard was great . He contacted me immediately when I needed a couple of questions answering. The lodge is beautiful.. the views are stunning and he has made it very comfortable. There was everything we could have needed. My 74 yr old father loved it as it was so peaceful and relaxing and myself, sister and brother in law had a great walking break taking the dogs too . Ease of access to the site and lodge was great as was the positioning relationship to some spectacular mountain walks . Thouroughly enjoyed it thank you 🙏

We had a wonderful stay here at the beginning of September, the lodge is very comfortable. The lodge is right next to the river rapids they can be a bit noisy but are absolutely splendid. There’s a Heron that stands just below the lodge catching fish, if your quiet you can watch him. The location is great handy for the sights in the area and particularly Zip World deffo worth a visit. The lodge is very pleasant with tv’s everywhere! And the site itself is lovely with a good shop and take away plus a large bar that serves meals. Spot on 👍
