Hollyhock Cottage, Clematis cottages, Stamford

Location fabulous. So quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise. Hosts wonderful. So accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. They weren’t in your face but were there to assist if needed. Lovely home produce options a bonus. Took time to provide a few essential groceries too which was not expected but very welcome. Tea and coffee and milk etc…no issue getting WiFi if that’s your bag. Lovely comfy sofas and beds very cottagey styling in keeping with the rural location. Outside gardens and tables and chairs for alfresco dining great. BBQ too if needed. Stamford very close by with all the facilities you could need. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and good quality takeaways. Plentiful supply of nearby golf courses. Would definitely recommend

A beautiful place in stunning grounds lovingly maintained by Richard and Kaye who were the best hosts. We had a wonderful couple of days with family.

Richard and Kaye were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home—greeted with fresh eggs and honey sourced straight from their farm. Their communication was excellent throughout, staying in touch before, during, and even after our visit to ensure everything was perfect. They truly went above and beyond. The cottage itself was beautiful, perfectly located, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for more!

You can spend your day outside in the amazing gardens and relax in nature. This is one of the best stays I hae been in the country! Strongly recommend
