Lovely car free new years break with friends

The old bank apts are fab we stayed in the sting and it was lovely.Fantastic location just forget about the car once parked up everything on the doorstep quite literally. The apt was very clean and comfortable and warm! Even though you are in the middle of the town it was very quiet and no issues with noise etc even on new years eve! .There is no parking but that's not an issue plenty of parking nearby and you can park outside the main door to unload your car . Easy to gain access clear communication from the owners and very easy to find.if you want a carefree car free stay then the bank apts are ideal. There are 3 other apts that all look lovely. We will definitely be using the apts next time we stay in stamford. Some lovely restaurants all within 2 mins walking .

The Old Bank Apartment (Hatton in our case) was excellent. Location is superb, very central and overlooking the lovely cobbled main street (mostly pedestrianised) so you are literally moments from everything, shops, restaurants, pubs, all a few steps away and yet being on the second floor you're removed enough that when you want to retreat to an oasis of peace and quiet, you have that right there. The apartment itself was lovely, a comfortable place to relax and fully fitted so that however much, or little, you wish to do for yourself, the option is there. Fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen, also with a washing machine. The lounge is well equipped and the bedroom and bathroom also all nicely fitted and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. Our host Rachel was extremely helpful and responsive. The apartment was warm, welcoming, well equipped and comfortable. We will definitely look to return.

Great accommodation in a fantastic location.

Excellent town centre location. Accommodation was top notch. We were in Stamford for a family celebration and wanted to be central. Christmas lights made the visit extra special. Being upgraded was a lovely surprise. We had a fantastic 2 bed 2 bath apartment which was like a show home. It was very clean.

Parking would have been a plus but there are car parks nearby, so not an issue. There is some noise from the street but it is to be expected in a town centre. It didn’t detract from our stay.

Luxury in the heart of Stamford .

The property was right in the heart of town but a quiet location too, steps away from the shops and lots of restaurants close by. The flat was really well laid out and super cosy , really big comfortable bed and soft pillows . The lounge diner kitchen was lovely too , with Netflix set on the TV to use also . Beautifully done , lovey and warm , immaculately clean and tidy .

The Apartment is lovely, would definitely stay again especially as the location is in town so good access to everything, and a short distance away from Burghley House which was our reason for visiting.

The only downside was there was a bit of noise from the street outside but that is to be expected as in the town.

A lovely base to relax in, and from which to explore a beautiful town.

Excellent location and wonderfully roomy flat. Smart speaker was great fun - I hadn't used one before.

Reading in the sitting room area in the evening was a bit tricky - a reading lamp would have been ideal.

Very good communication for the host regarding access to the flat. Beautifully decorated flat, very comfortable bed. Centrally located opposite the Stamford Library. Very functional kitchen. Super clean.

Excellent property and considering it's in the city centre, lovely and quiet, lots of access to coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. The kitchen is really well equipped, I'm jealous of the cooker supplied!

Great location, high spec apartment.

There was some noise from the street overnight. Bin collections and setting up of the market. We did know beforehand that the apartment was a town centre location though. Also, there is no parking at the property.

Ideal rustic apartment centrally located.

This is well maintained property, very clean, everything one needs for a short stay or longer stay and location is in the heart...

No parking available, and although there is parking around Stamford and costs are not too high, it is negative. In addition, the noise in the morning for those who like a longer sleep, loading and unloading starts around 0600. I personally am an early bird, so not a big issue to me, but to be considered. No air-conditioning..

Spacious; well equipped and stylish.

Needs AC. Top floor and got really, really hot—made it hard to sleep at night. Sent messages to the staff when I had an issue and received no responses.

probably the nicest property that we've stayed at, in Stamford.

Location was perfect

It was fortunate that I had been to the gym that day as the black door had swollen so much by the rain that even my 100 kilo reasonably toned body couldn't get it opened ! However with one last shoulder charge at the door it started to move and with some extra verbal encouragement from owner Rachel on my mobile I managed to get it open.! A short while later my partner arrived and asked if "I had broken the black door as it wouldnt shut

LIKE HOKE FROM HOME

Old Bank Apartments, Stamford. We love Stamford. We could quite easily move there tomo so we were delighted to find this secret hidden gem because it felt like home. Old Bank Apartments offers beautiful self catering venues. The four loft-style apartments have been stylishly converted within the former bank to create modern living spaces whilst retaining the original features of this historic building. We stayed in ‘Brinks’ which was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for our few nights away including some little extra thoughtful treats to get us started! Situated on the high street it was the perfect location for the independent coffee shops we like to visit!

Superb

The position was perfect for exploring Stamford on foot. Close to all amenities and attractions. It was exceptionally clean, spacious and very attractively furnished. The beds were also very comfortable. Nice welcome with a few goodies and basics to drink.

It would have been helpful to know in advance that the apartment we rented was at the top of the building with no lift. Also it would have been helpful to know that it was in a noisy location. There was considerable noise late at night with revellers returning from nights out and from service vehicles both late at night and early in the morning. Whilst these issues are outside of the proprietor's control, it would have been good to prepare for this in advance.
