Compact but very comfortable. Bed/pillows excellent. Able to park the car to unload and the park at the nearby car park. Well known “express” grocery small supermarkets just around the corner. Very central for everything. Would choose this again.

Convience of property location. This is my 4th time staying at this property i never have to worry about the cleanliness as it's always very good.

Location is perfect for a short stay as so much is within walking distance. Parking was easy to find but also only a short car ride from the train station. Accommodation met our needs perfectly as we have been in the area before, our visit was nice and quiet even though it is so near the shops and restaurants. It was also comfortable and very clean. Would happily book again.

Great location, in the centre of town. The property was very clean and comfortable and felt secure.

Noise from the property above does travel down. However, during my short stay, I only heard footsteps and voices first thing in the morning - nothing major. Also, there are only thin venetian blinds on the windows, so the room was flooded with light by 5am.

Perfectly located and good value for money. Great communication from the owner, relatively easy access but the front door takes a bit of practice to open! It’s small but has everything we needed for self catering. We appreciated the tea,coffee,sugar and milk the owner left. It was generally really clean, some mould in places but nothing major. The bed was comfy but the pillows could do with being thicker but perhaps that’s just what we prefer. Definitely needed earplugs because of takeaways and pub close. On the whole perfect for a short stay and we will definitely use again.

Can’t think of any negatives

The property was in an excellent location for walking around Cheltenham. The room itself was very clean with a good level of facilities. I was able to cook proper meals, wash and dry my clothes, and run online work meetings using the wifi. The bed and chairs were comfortable and the shower was hot. I liked the attention to detail, like how the room smelled like a spa, the lovely shampoo and shower gel, and a proper range of cooking utensils.

Noise was an issue for me. The street is very narrow and has a pub and takeaway nearby. There was a lot of late-night, noisy, drunken footfall. Also, I was in room 2 (the middle floor) and the top floor is also a rental but with a different landlord. The couple in there on the first night were really noisy and playing loud RnB until 2.30a.m. I messaged my landlord about this and he did respond and wanted to help. He did have a word with the landlord of the room above the following morning, and things were quieter after that. Note about parking. It was very tricky to load and unload as parking is all permit only and there were no spaces. I had to park on double yellow lines outside the takeaway over the road to ferry all my luggage in. I was lucky not to need my car whilst in town, so I parked a 20 min walk away on a road with no permits for free. If you do need a car park, there is one in the next street. It's council run so not too pricey, and it's literally a minute's walk from the property.

Having your own space

Key pads on door to room like front door would be a great way to check in.

For the price it was a nice and clean room. There was a well equipped kitchen and clean bathroom. Although there is not much space in the bathroom but it is a studio apartment in the centre if the city. The host was kind enough to offer us keep the luggage for few more hours after the check out time. However, due to bad weather we didn't use this.

Central location. Clear instructions on how to enter property. Everything we needed for overnight stay. Comfortable bed.

Noisy neighbours upstairs - but can't be helped and not fault of host.

Steep stairs No access to a street door key , when the street door keypad didn’t work. Fortunately a neighbour helped- we were left outside for 30’m as owners lived away. A street door key is a must

when we first arrived it was a little cold and seemed to take a while to warm up when we put the heater on , but apart from that no complaints

Location to town centre is THE only good thing I can review

I don’t tend to leave reviews but I feel in this instance given we booked this property based on the GOOD reviews I needed to share our experience. We arrived at 2340pm and had booked into emergency alternative accommodation by 23:50. I have stayed in a LOT of accommodations and I’m far from fussy but the state of this accommodation was frankly grotesque to the point we had no other option to move so we actually could get a nights sleep. The whole apartment stank of must and old cigarettes, the bedding made me physically wretch it clearly hadn’t been washed in weeks and smelt like old sweat. The bathroom was mouldy and covered in hairs including pubic hair and surfaces hadn't seen a cleaning cloth in weeks. The shower had very concerning stains all over the door, and the kitchen area had smear marks all over the cooker. We tried to approach the property owner to resolve issue only to be accused of lying - was told the photo of a pubic hair in the bathroom was infact a “ scratch” and smear marks were down to cleaning cloth residue and we were refused a refund despite having to leave the property due to the unsanitary state and booking in to a Travelodge and being out of pocket. Very disappointed and will absolutely NOT be returning or recommending

Great location, pleasant room with plenty of space, especially when travelling alone. Clean, comfortable, plenty of amenities. Hosts weren't present, by design, but were prompt in responding when I had a query. Didn't stay long enough to try everything (TV; heating; cooking facilities), but not a fault of the room or hosts.

Very well furnished little apartment with everything you might miss for your stay like washing up liquid. Not too far away from the lidl either which makes it convenient to cook food whilst you there. The apartment was very clean and will definitely try to stay here again if in the area.

Second stay within 2 months. Brilliant location in Cheltenham town centre. Beautiful modern studio apartment with excellent facilities, spotless clean and very bright.

We could access the property by ourselves without having to meet anyone. The host was easily accessible when we needed help as well. The location was really good for what we needed. The kitchen area was good and everything was clean. It was nice to have a big fan in the room too as it got quite warm.

It wasn’t clear which room was ours. We also struggled with the keypad and how to use it. It was really noisy, the people above us were extremely noisy at 6am and the street was pretty noisy. The bed sheet wasn’t the softest and I found it a bit scratchy. It was also a shame there wasn’t any wifi as it meant the smart tv couldn’t be used. It would be good to be able to turn the radiator off in the bathroom too as it was so hot in there.
