Designer Cotswold post house with external sauna

Great location, really nice cottage and super helpful host! Perfect for our small dog too with the fully enclosed garden. The pub close by was an added bonus (with zero impact on us in the cottage).

All good.

Immaculate. Comfortable sofas. Large rooms. Loved the kitchen/diner. Sauna a big plus!

Nothing

Beautifully decorated, really comfortable and clean, the sauna was the perfect touch too!

Nothing!

We appreciated the space and charm of the property and the nice showers .

We were disappointed by the poor quality of bedding , towels and kitchen equipment, which did not match the reviews from 2025. Eg water from the walk in shower flooded the bathroom , the shower over the bath needs a handrail for safety, the towels were rough , the sheets and pillows had certainly seen better days. All the saucepans need replacing as they are all scratched. A potato peeler is vital and was missing. The bed in en suite bedroom was supported on blocks and no bedside table on one side. No where to put suitcases , space being filled with a huge wardrobe. The main bedroom bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. The induction hob took 30 mins to boil water , I assume because the saucepans were unsuitable. Main door to garden was very difficult to open and close. No fire blanket or normal holiday home safety features. Floors throughout the house were gritty and dirty.
