Excellent location for visiting the Cotswolds

House beautifully decorated and so well equipped. Views to the back of property are just lovely.

Only 2 issues : firstly the bedroom with the en suite has a constant loud hum (I assume it’s the air circulation system) which could not be switched off. As a light sleeper I could not use this room. Secondly there is a smell of drains even though the property is immaculate.

Stunning property that the owners should be proud of

Beautifully clean, luxurious feel to the Post House, excellent location for where we wanted to visit. Lovely touches with a bottle of fizz, store cupboard ingredients, toiletries etc. Excellent for the dogs having an enclosed garden. Quiet location close to the pub.

Nothing really except the constant humming noise in the master en suite, meant that we decided to sleep in another room. I know this probably can’t be helped but if the house is at full occupancy then the option of another room wouldn’t be available.

Everything you would want from a small break

Cosy, comfortable, and modern. Great facilities, great location, and very quiet. There was everything we needed, beds with very comfortable, all had great sleep, plenty of towels and nice smellies! Pub, a few paces away, had a lovely vibe, and food was top notch.

A beautiful house in a stunning location

We stayed here the night before my wedding in January. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. The house is located in a beautiful location with stunning views out over the countryside. The house is decorated to an impeccable standard! You can see how much love and care the owners have put into the house, it really shows. There was a bottle of bubbly left in the fridge for us too which was a very lovely touch. Overall the house is wonderful.

There were a couple of things that did impact our stay, and had we been staying more than one night I would have addressed with the owner. In the one bedroom with the en-suite, there was a constant low whirring noise throughout the night. I tried to see if it was the air system but adjusting this didn't help. This unfortunately did impact my sleep, not ideal the night before my wedding, but it was something I couldn't have known about until going to sleep, so there was no opportunity to contact the owner about it. The other issue, which affected the same room and also the kitchen was an unpleasant smell from the drains. It was very noticeable in the en-suite bathroom and in the kitchen, especially when the water was running. Again, not a major issue, just something that was a bit bothersome. The house was incredible, it is just a shame about these two minor points. Otherwise we would definitely return if we wanted a stay in the area again.

Nothing really. Only issue was arriving at school pick-up time in two collector cars and the final half-mile to the property is very narrow in part…we survived!

beautiful stay in a stunning cotswold village

We had an excellent night at the post house, it’s in a beautiful location in the Cotswolds, a village called Leighterton. the village was stunning and peaceful with a lovely duck pond and beautiful views. The outdoor sauna was excellent, we used the outdoor shower to cool down and the sauna to heat ourselves up! The post house was super clean and comfortable, it really felt like a hotel, and Lisa’s guidebook for the surrounding areas to visit was great! Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham all close and great places to visit. Thanks Lisa!

Nádherný dům v krásném klidném místě, naprosto komfortní, nemá ani jedinou chybičku, majitelka byla v kontaktu, milá, příjemná, spousta detailů, díky kterým, jsme se cítili jako doma. V takovém domě bychom si přáli žít. Dárek v lednici na uvítanou❤️ Tohle ubytování bylo nejlepší, v jakém jsme dosud bydleli. Mockrát děkujeme a snad ještě někdy přijedeme😘
