Great character property
It is a lovely old character property and close to our family, so a convenient location
In cold temperatures it is difficult to keep it warm but you can change the temperature and time on the heating

Overall a wonderful place ,all of us would definitely book it again.
Lovely house,very atmospheric,spacious ,situated in a nice quiet village but very close to all local amenities . The only noise you can hear in the morning is birds’ singing. We’ve all absolutely loved the dining area where we could sit and enjoy our time together. Well equipped kitchen. The owner has kindly agreed to let us check out later as we had a birthday’s celebration the previous night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you very much!
Some written instructions would be helpful,I.e the information about the separate hitting circuit and wi-fi password. It would be good also to have a shower extension in the bath tub. The hand-wash liquid was missing in downstairs toilet and in toilet on the second floor.Just little attention to details and it will be perfect.

Really lovely spacious house in a gorgeous quite village with a fun milk vending machine!
Lovely house, very characterful, beds comfy, linen nice, water pressure really good.
Couple of parts of the house could have been a bit cleaner - last people who stayed there had run the dishwasher but it hadn't done a good job so all the cooking utensils were still dirty.

Beautiful cottage and gardens in front and out back. In terms of cooking equipment - everything is available but be sure to bring your own oil/butter/ dishwasher tablets/ dishwasher soap etc.

Lovely place, would definitely recommend in the summer
House and gardens were lovely
It was very cold during the day. We couldn't see how to turn the central heating on outside of the set timer hours and unfortunately we went when there was frost outside, so ended up sitting under duvets in the lounge in the afternoon
