The Varsity Studios

Well located and nice studio which was reasonable size.

Issue with checking in and could not contact Varsity Studio. But got sorted in the end, through Booking.com and an active response when pointing out the checking in issue. So, hopefully resolved.

Fantastic little flat all on keys in in lock box’s

A bit expensive for a unmanned room, and a pain to set up have to pay £100 deposit and scan your IF and as we booked it while already away was very lucky I had my driving license on me which I don’t always.

The location was great. For.all the town and the arena and Castle i4 was a superb location, very central. Car parking easy and close too.

The mattress is about knackered, springs popping and sticking into you. Also needs more than 1 extremely flat pillow each.

The location is central enough but is next to a busy road. However, we were out all day and back late evening so didn’t really bother us. We did have a few people stand near our bedroom area window having a chat early morning! Our room was ground floor. The room was very clean. The bathroom was lovely. I left my AirPods in the apartment at checkout in the morning and didn’t realise until that evening. I contacted the owner and told them where my AirPods were and we arranged for them to be put in the lock box for me to collect which was kind of them.

The bed! It’s way too small for two adults. It’s a very small double, so sleeping was a bit of an issue. The bathroom door doesn’t open fully because the sink is behind it! A bit of a design fault. I walked in pushing the door open as I did so only for it to stop abruptly! The bed is in the kitchen area.
