Great place for a short city break!

Excellent property on the outskirts of Oxford. Regular buses take you into the city itself. Property was very well looked after by the Owner, whose communication was first class. Loved the jams and pastries provided on arrival too! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area for a short break.

Ideal for a short break with a lovely host.

The property is found in a prime location easy to find and is approx 2 miles from Oxford. The apartment was great with a fully stocked kitchen, large living room and bedroom. The mattress was to die for. There is ample parking for all three apartments. Melanie is very friendly and the perfect host. 5 minutes down the hill you can catch a bus to the centre outside the Seacourt Bridge Pub, if you don't want to drive into town. Oxford is lovely steeped in history with more modern shops to suit all tastes and for all book lovers 3 separate Blackwell shops. The are eating places near the apartment but we decided to stay in the centre and get a taxi back. We would recommend the Plough Inn.

The apartment topped all the other apartments that we have stayed in in Oxford in the last year (since our son started his DPhil at the university of Oxford). The host was very nice, the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, and we loved all the extras (fruit, flowers, croissants and jam). The coffeemaker was also highly appreciated. We are definitely coming back next time we go to Oxford by car.

Our stay was completely perfect.

Everything about this place is fabulous. We were welcomed with such kindness and lots of advice for visiting Oxford. Little croissants for the morning, a fruit basket, fresh milk, water, jams, honey... Incredible. I have to come back to Oxford and I will definitely stay here again! Thank you Melanie for everything, you are an absolutely wonderful person !!

The apartment is so comfortable, well stocked with provisions, milk, fresh coffee, croissant, fruit, the flowers were a lovely touch. bed was very comfortable and so well equipped. relatively convent on a number of direct bus routes to town

it was truly a delight to stay, the only thing I might offer as a suggestion would be some softer / thiner pillows as an option.

Very comfortable property with everything you need for a short stay.

Extremely comfortable queen bed. Lots of extra touches - tea, coffee plus ground Coffee for cafetière, flowers, pasties, milk, jam and bottled water. Very clean and tidy. We got the bus into Oxford City Centre with a bit of a walk owing to major road closure.

Probably more expensive than most of the places we stay.
