About this apartment rental
A cozy and comfortably furnished vacation rental for up to 5 people in a historic thatched-roof house dating from 1785, featuring a park-like garden. The thatched-roof house is centrally located in Eiderstedt and is in close proximity to the North Sea and the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
The Alte Pastorat features 3 vacation apartments. “Himmel’s Stuv” offers plenty of space and tranquility for a relaxing vacation with the whole family. The 72 m² vacation apartment is located on the first floor and has access to the 4,500 m² garden.
The house has been completely modernized to meet today’s comfort standards. It was very important to us to preserve the charm of the historic building. The apartment features a living/dining area with a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen, a bathroom, and separate bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double box-spring bed and a walk-in closet; the second bedroom has 2 or 3 single beds, depending on occupancy.
Experience breathtaking sunsets over the North Sea, enjoy the endless expanse of the dikes and sand dunes of SPO and Westerhever, and take walks and bike rides through incomparable flora and fauna. Cozy corners of the garden invite you to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast outdoors.Whether it’s a cozy cup of coffee in a beach chair or a barbecue in the garden—here, every wish can come true. As evening falls, gather around your own fire pit for a glass of wine or to bake bread on a stick over the campfire.
For cozy afternoons and evenings, especially during the colder months, treat yourself to an exclusive sauna experience in our new garden sauna. Afterward, relax by the crackling fireplace (wood-burning stoves with large viewing windows) in your Himmel’s Stuv.

We stayed in the upstairs apartment (Himmel’s Stuv) and it was perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 kids). Clean, well equipped, comfortable, good wifi, lovely garden and sauna house. It’s a peaceful location. Owners were wonderful to communicate with and they have done an incredible job restoring this historic home.
