Casa da Nogueira

Wonderful welcome, magical surroundings, cozy atmosphere, less touristic than the usual spots in Madeira. Washing & drying machines useful because of the very humid climate (clothes would not dry otherwise). Very good restaurant at foot distance

Too many decor items make it difficult to find surfaces to use. We had to displace a lot of stuff to make the house actually usable. Lack of surfaces and wardrobes meant we had to keep our luggages unpacked. Lack of supermarkets nearby (nearest grocery store is 10 minutes drive away).

Het is een heerlijk huis met een tuin. Er is een goede keuken, 2 slaapkamers en een woonkamer met badkamer. Buiten kun je heerlijk zitten, ook aan een grote tafel onder een veranda. Er waren diverse briefjes en leuke attenties bij binnenkomst. Geeft je een heel welkom gevoel. Auto kun je op het terrein parkeren. Vlakbij (1,5 minuut lopen) een serieus goed restaurant.

Eigenlijk niets. Het bed had van mij een iets harder matras mogen hebben en een 'normaal' dekbed. Maar dat is persoonlijk.

Simply extraordinary. Here, you experience Madeira in all its glory. It is more than just an apartment—it is a charming little house with a soul, offering an incredible welcome; a place where you fall asleep to the sound of water murmuring in the nearby *levada* and wake up to birdsong and the breathtaking scenery nature paints before you in this idyllic valley. In short, it is a dream come true—we hope to return...

The only slight regret is that we didn't get to meet the owners, who must be wonderful people.

C'est une grotte, sombre et humide, avec une odeur terrible de renfermé et d'humidité, quasiment pas une ouverture, lit du fond juste correct.
