Location, location, location. Phenomenal placement at the edge of Loch Ness. The Abbey has been beautifully and sympathetically restored and a fine balance has been struck between permanent residency and guests like us. The apartment was furnished to a high standard and the views from the charming old windows into the courtyard or the lush grounds were just sublime, as my daughter in law said, "just like being in a movie". The rooms were spacious and overall, we were very comfortable. The pool and sauna were fantastic and the games room was just the icing on the cake. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again which is possibly the highest recommendation.
The only minor quibble could be the lack of a lift so you need to be aware of this if booking one of the upper apartments. This was not an issue for us but worthy of note.
