Apartment Sans Souci W1 by Interhome

Great location close to train & town centre. Big rooms, 2 bathrooms & balcony with huge views. Good kitchen & laundry and near co-op.

Having to get the key and return the key to their office is extremely inconvenient. It is about 700m from apartment but opposite direction to train or bus station. Totally inconvenient if you have luggage. Need to get with the times and get a key safe, at least to leave the keys on check out at minimum.

I was able to arrive after hours and very easily collect the keys from a lockbox. Also, when I needed help trying to figure out where to park, someone from Interhome was very helpful. Great communications throughout!

The apt itself was great but it was the service, lack of response, key pick up and drop off that all made this incredibly a cumbersome stay. The location was also convenient although it requires walking up a steep incline with suitcases to the building so you should just know that.

The customer service/management is terrible. They do not respond to inquiries - sometimes never, sometimes after the fact to a nonsensical degree, and only after you've sent them same question over and over and over and over and over. So that 24 hour turnaround response time is a completely joke that they list. I asked DAYS in advance if I could arrive before 3PM, and not only did they never response but they deleted whatever they did respond with (delete shows up 3x on the message wall) and then never responded. I asked can they please respond so I can reschedule my train ride accordingly if two hour earlier check in is not possible or if they can let me know if there is a place to leave my bag until check in. You know when they responded (only after I sent them message after message after arriving wondering what to do standing outside in the sun with my suitcases outside the building)? They send me a note one hour after arrival as I stood there wondering what to do. Then finally a neighboring person walking by told me to try going to their offices which my sister did while I watched the suitcases out in the street for an hour. Basically, all this robbed me of the half day in griffenwald and we didnt' get to do anything that day. So they robbed me of time and also added to the hassle (and deprived me of just staying in lucerne later.) We had to leave early in the morning too and you have to lock apt from outside. So basically, I had to kick out my family early so I could then walk the keys back to a lock box (rather than lock door and leave key in apt) ten minutes in opposite direction of the train. and then make it back to the train which adds about hour to everyone to wake up early and also do the list of things you have to do before you leave the place.
