This is a very old townhouse remodeled with refined materials, everything is very nice looking. The matrasses were excellent! It was nice to have a toilet and washbassin in the room as the showers were quite far. The dinner was excellent, very good kabuki style dinner. Also the breakfast was very good (grilled salmon and omelet, rice, miso, etc.)

This is such a unique place. We had a great stay. The location is excellent just a few walking minutes from train/bus station and castle and the dinner and breakfast were an authentic experience

The location was phenomenal. Very central. 10 min walk to train station 10 min walk to the castle or the frog market. Really enjoyed the traditional feel of the place and breakfast was tasty

Well situated to the castle and shopping street.
Old and outdated. Not quite the cleanliness standards we have experienced in Japan as a whole.
