051 Living

Giorgio is a great host and lives in the same building so he is mostly available for keys and other stuff. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very kind to support with a few unexpected things that happened to us. He is very flexible. The property is absolutely fine. It is very close to the train station so it makes it easy for day trips.

The only thing I can think of is it is about 25 min walk to the center of Bologna and after a long day of walking it felt a bit too much for me, but it is just a personal opinion.

Georgio, the host was super attentive! We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise every morning in his large and comfortable apartment. It was super close to the train station-less than a 10 minutes walk for us so it was easy to travel to Milan, Modena, Parma and Ravenna. The location was also easy access for us to visit all places in Bologna, including Piazza Maggiore and the university district. We enjoyed our one week stay very much and hope to return one day!

The apartment is fantastic - large, spacious and well set up with everything you might need for a comfortable stay, and Giorgio the host was amazing!! There is large well equipped kitchen, large bedroom with comfy bed and plenty of wardrobe space, large bathroom and a great lounge/dining area. There are heaters in every room so you can control the temperature. Lots of natural light from doors and windows which you can open out onto balconies all around. Wifi is strong and reliable. It has an elevator which was convenient for moving luggage (apartment is on an upper floor) and it all felt very safe and secure. Giorgio was fantastic and very responsive with communication. He met us at the front and helped with our luggage as well as showing us how everything worked. The apartment is in a residential block in a pleasant and safe area with nice neighbours. It is a short (flat) walk from Bologna Centrale Train station (easy footpath all the way). It is a 20 min walk to Piazza Maggiore/old town, passing colonnades full of shops along the way. Plenty of cafes and shops in the immediate local area. We highly recommend Giorgio as a brilliant host and we would definitely stay at the 051 Living apartment again!

The host, Giorgio, was very friendly and helpful. He arranged a discounted rate for parking and gave us excellent dining recommendations.

The Wi-Fi was a bit weak outside the bedroom, and the mattress was slightly too soft for our preference.
