The YiD Lovely Duomo Suite Apt has an excellent location in the very heart of Florence – all the main attractions, museums, cafes, and restaurants are practically within walking distance. It is the perfect base for exploring the city and immersing oneself in its history and unique atmosphere. The building has character and history, while the apartment interior is modern with charming historical accents. This combination of historical charm and contemporary comfort creates an authentic feeling of being in the center of Florence. The apartment is impeccably clean and well-equipped – every detail has clearly been carefully considered. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the adjustable heating (especially useful in winter) adds significantly to the comfort of the stay. Nearby, there is a convenient mini-supermarket, and just next to the building, a small local shop, Vignoli dal 1946, offers delicious cold cuts, focaccia, and mozzarella – perfect for a quick breakfast in the apartment. The staff is very helpful – all questions are answered promptly and efficiently. Check-in and check-out are smooth and hassle-free. In summary, this place is ideal both for active sightseeing and for relaxing with a coffee while enjoying the city’s atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes one want to return again and again.

L’appartamento è molto carino, ben curato e in una posizione davvero strategica per visitare Firenze: sotto questo aspetto siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Purtroppo all’arrivo abbiamo avuto un problema serio con la caldaia: niente acqua calda né riscaldamento, e abbiamo trovato la casa a circa 13 gradi. Considerando che in quei giorni pioveva e faceva già molto freddo, il disagio è stato notevole. Inoltre, il ragazzo che ci ha assistito inizialmente non sapeva nemmeno dove fosse la caldaia (l’abbiamo trovata noi), e ci è stato proposto un intervento nei giorni successivi, cosa piuttosto fuori luogo visto che ci saremmo fermati solo una notte. Alla fine siamo stati noi stessi a risolvere il problema. Non abbiamo apprezzato la risposta ricevuta (“scherzo fiorentino”), data la situazione. Consiglierei anche di rivedere leggermente la dotazione della cucina (almeno qualche piccola cortesia come il caffè) e sarebbe importante trovare l’appartamento già un po’ riscaldato all’arrivo degli ospiti. Tolto questo inconveniente, l’alloggio resta piacevole e molto ben posizionato.
