ZILTE STILTE

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a family with a baby, we were looking for a place close to the beach action, yet quiet enough to ensure a good night's sleep away from the city noise. Zilte Stilte delivered way beyond our expectations! A massive plus right off the bat: free parking. Finding a spot in Ostend is usually a nightmare, but here we could park our car without any worries. The apartment is super cozy, spotless, and wonderfully quiet—the name certainly doesn't lie! It's about a 13-minute stroll to the beach, which is super easy to manage with a buggy. After a full day of fresh air, strolling along the coastline, and enjoying the seaside, it was wonderful to come 'home'. The kitchen is fully equipped (including a dishwasher, and thanks to the streaming services, we could relax on the couch in the evening after putting our little one to sleep. Another huge lifesaver for traveling parents: they even provided a baby cot, high chair, and baby bath—just make sure to send them a quick message beforehand to arrange it! In short: an absolute must-visit for young families wanting to explore the Belgian coast comfortably and stress-free. We will definitely be back!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the location was perfect, and there was free parking in all the surrounding streets. The communication was friendly, clear, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was truly amazing—we had a wonderful time staying here and would happily recommend it!

Honestly nothing, we stayed here before and loved booking it again.

The kitchen is very well equipped, convenient, and functional. The living area is cozy, with a comfortable table for breakfast or dinner. The mattress in the bedroom is comfortable. It is also very convenient when traveling with a dog – there is a dog bed, bowls, and even treats provided. The WiFi worked well throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean upon arrival. The cleaning seemed rather superficial, with a lot of dust in many places, even on decorative items. The bathrobes were dirty. The duvet in the bedroom had stains, and the pillows were in very poor condition and not suitable for use. Sound insulation is quite limited – noise from the bathroom is clearly audible. The bed linen offered for an additional fee (€35) did not feel very new or comfortable, so we were glad we brought our own. The towels in the bathroom did not dry properly and remained damp. The surrounding area was not very pleasant, and the walk to the sea takes around 20 minutes.
