Great location and comfortable apartment

Great location got the beach and tram line. Easy access to main train station. Close to the beach. Well equipped got self catering. On the 10th floor with good views. Balcony with table and 4 chairs. The bed was really comfortable. Easy access arrangements. Second visit here

Lovely apartment by the beach with parking and friendly staff, suitable for families.

Lovely little apartment by the beach with parking. We stayed one night on our way to the ferry. Oostende itself was a fantastic surprise, with a great beach, nice bars and restaurants, and good shopping. The concierge for Ostend Studio was really helpful and both recommended and booked us a nearby restaurant that was suitable for children.

Beds and pillows were a touch too soft.

Good staff, and location adequate facilities- need updating

Staff, location was fine. The view was what we expected.

There was no microwave (had been on the list of facilities). Bed was badly positioned for getting in and out. Poor ventilation, had to leave the front sliding door open to get air and then the traffic noise was to loud for sleeping. No soaps and shampoos holders in shower cubicle and was not supplied. The decor was getting old and dated, floor showed wear and patches. Sofa badly faded and worn.

Good communication from hosts. Great location directly across the street from beach. Close to grocery store/restaurants/public transport. Kitchen had all new cookware/dishes/utensils. Quiet at night. Convenient onsite parking.

Adding a broom would be a good idea. No view-what-so-ever. Loud construction starting early morning.

The apartment was brilliant, stylishly laid out and modern interior. Beautiful view off the balcony looking at the beach. Nicely located for a quick access into the town centre.

There is alot of building works going on along the whole street and across the road, some days they started work with machinery at 6am. Belgium obviously doesn't have noise pollution laws before a set time, because it is a little disrespectful to people in the area.

Lovely apartment. Completely spotless with everything you need. Owners were extremely helpful with our late arrival.

We weren’t aware of the immense amounts of building work going on outside, including a giant crane outside of the window blocking the view of the sea.

Go if you enjoy construction noise and think that the hotel across the street is an ocean view.

It was clean, and the furniture was comfortable. I also liked the city of Ostende itself

The ocean view was a tiny slip between 2 buildings, filled with construction equipment. The building across the way, and next to the apartment are under construction, and the noise started before 8 am and continued nonstop all day. The front desk is only open between 14:30 to 1930, and even though I called when I arrived early, they wouldn’t even let me drop my bags off, and I had to lug them around for 2 hours.

Top location. Great for using as a base to visit the many attractions in Ostende

The location was attractive, close to all things including transport. Cleanliness of the studio,

Missed a few things such as toiletries toaster. Bed was not of the best quality. There was a lot of renovations going on in the apartment block making it unbearable during the week to stay in the studio during the day. Not able to relax it was best to leave and goo somewhere else. The kitchen had too many items to make unusable. (Take the additional oven out of the kitchen, its not really needed)

Building work going on in corridors, strong smell of paint, walls knocked out and unfinished and fire doors not on. Would recommend the apartment when building work is complete but health and safety would have a field day and too expensive whilst a building site.

Exceptional

The lady at the reception was exceptionally kind and professional, she came into the studio with us and explained in detail all the equipment and facilities, she recommended where to go eating and shopping in the area. There is a Spar just across the street, facing the beach, a very good restaurant and a bakery. The studio was modernly furnished and equiped, with a big balcony, with sea view. Exceptionally clean and it happened to be ready 2 hours before check-in. Carine, the lady at the reception even gave us a call to inform us we can check in. We only stayed one night, but we will for sure come back.

Clean, comfortable room, very good equipped kitchen, nice view even if construction cranes are hiding part of the view to the sea, the tram is station is very close.

I do not like than extra charges are taken withaught providing invoice. It is not a problem for me to pay extra 20 EUR for the dog, but transparency is the main issue which is lacking when money is paid and there is no document provided to prove it. How I could know if taxes would be paid in this case? The pillows are very small - we took two extra from from the wardrobes. It also must be mentioned that the apartment will not have the view to the sea soon - because new building will be built in front. Also wall painting works are in progress near the apartment we got.

Neat apartment with lovely view

Very neat and complete apartment! It has a dishwasher, oven+microwave, coffee machine, plenty of wall sockets all around. The bed was made when I arrived, it's comfy and a bit higher than I'm used to. The wifi worked great too. The sea view from the 8th floor is stunning even with the construction work across the road, and the tram stop is almost right in front of the building. There is a movie theatre and sushi bar next door, multiple restaurants along the beach. Supermarkets within walking distance. The reception staff was friendly and gave explanation about the appliances and house rules, informed me the supermarkets were closed on sunday evening (arrived around 6pm).

Construction site across the road meant early mornings, there was quite some construction noise. IN the building itself there also appeared to be some painting or similar work, the receptionist didnt mention anything about this at all, yet one morning i suddenly found floor covering in the hall and tape on all the doors. Two towels for a 5 day stay is a bit little, they did offer that I could ask for more during reception hours but i cant just plan my day activities around that. There was nobody at the reception around check-out time, i knew i could leave the keys there but it felt weird rushing to clear out the dishwasher, take out trash etc if nobody comes to check that I left it behind neatly.

Loud and stressful

We enjoyed our stay the 1st time around. I like this part of Oostende. There is a great Italian restaurant nearby and, If you like walking, it’s a nice distance from the center to which you can get via promenade.

It was our 2nd time at this property and we were very disappointed. There is a very loud neighbor living at the apartament next door, who listens to music, at the highest possible volume, all day long. The administrator was aware of this but didn’t mention anything to us before our stay. We only found it out from him at the check-in. The other problem I had was with the check-in time. Before I booked the room, I asked the property team if late check-in about 8-9pm would be possible that time. They answered that yes, of course, it is. The story changed drastically after the booking. I was then informed that the late check-in can only be until 7pm.

Nice furniture and comfortable for a few days. Perfect located, you have a beautiful view over the sea. If you want some shopping or good restaurants, it's just a 20 minute walk along the sea.

At the moment they're building a new hotel in front of the studio, the sounds in the morning have been a bit annoying.
