As described. Very nice bedrooms

Shower in main bathroom a little weak but great in en-suite.

The cottage and location were fabulous for access to alnmouth and coastal locations in Northumberland including Alnwick. Very rural and quiet and the cottage had everything we needed for a self catering week away. Thank you Darren and Lesley.

No breakfast as it was self catering. Lovely quiet location but very close to Alnmouth.

After a long day to get there we arrived after dark. Whilst there was a nice box of chocolates awaiting our arrival, we would have much preferred a nice cup of tea and a couple of slices of toast. However, on checking the refrigerator there was no milk or bread so we had to start off our first evening by driving to Alnwick to find the Lidl store to buy milk and bread. We are retired hotel owners who always provided essentials like milk, sugar, tea bags, coffee and biscuits, alongside a small refrigerator in all our rooms. Most of the very positive feedback we got related to our thoughtfulness. It's not essential but we're sure would be appreciated by many on their arrival.
