Authentiek verblijf in Omalo, super vriendelijke mensen, de gastvrouw maakt heerlijk ontbijt en dinner, de gastheer maakt zelf zalige wijn en de kleindochter is een perfecte tolk. Een absolute aanrader.

I liked everything

Very warm, kind, sensible, genuine and hospitable hosts. The location is perfect, just in the centre of the village. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area with gorgeous views over the mountains. There's a nice veranda overlooking the mountains where you can have breakfast and dinner. In the garden there is a hammock and other places to relax after a long hike. The bedroom was very cosy, comfy bed, warm duvet and blankets. The bathroom is clean and spotless and there is warm/hot water in the shower. The guesthouse owners are very knowledgeable about the area, can recommend best places to visit and to hike to as they were born and grew up in this area. The food was the highlight of the day-delicious, hearty, filling homemade tush food. I loved that the food was very diverse and fresh. I was served soup, meat with potatoes , salads, cheese and was offered homemade red wine. The guesthouse owner makes the wine by himself and is very proud of his great quality wine. The guesthouse owners were very kind to help me arrange transport with a local driver to Alvani, from there you can take a minibus to Tbilisi. I would definitely recommend the guest house Lileo to my friends and would stay there again on my next visit to Tusheti. Didi madloba Tomari , Tina and Teona! See you next year! Sakartvelo gaumajos!
