Guest House Gordila

Very nice people working there! Helped us to get a taxi from Telavi, then surved a great breakfast in the morning. Pity the lady surving food doesnt speak english. Located in the center of upper Omalo with a lovely view.

Pretty expensive comparing to other guest houses around. Toilet in our room didnt work properly (sometimes it didnt get water inside at all, it wasnt fixed).

The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the location was great! Beso and Mari speak English and were very help. Mari was our hiking guide, and Beso organized a day of horses for us. I’m not sure if it’s their culture, but we were served way too much food and could not ever finish it all. They had boxes, so we could box up the leftovers and take them on our daily adventures or eat as a midnight snack. The guesthouse is in upper Omalo near the castle (it’s not really a castle, just many watchtowers) and was just recently renovated.

The wifi did not work well in our room, so we had to stay in the common areas to call home - but just having wifi in Tusheti was fantastic!
