Mountain Home Inn-Guesthouse

One of the best places I’ve ever been able to stay in! Such lovely, welcoming, and generous people in a beautiful house not far from some great hiking. I would definitely recommend staying here!

An amazing home with the most incredibly welcoming hosts. From the very moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed. My host greeted me with fresh fruit from his garden and his own homemade wine, and shared wonderful stories that made the stay feel so personal and special. He went above and beyond to make my experience truly unique, even recommending where I should travel next to discover more of Georgia’s beautiful places. The house itself is incredibly cozy, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. If I could recommend just one guesthouse in Georgia, it would be this one. A truly special place that I will remember for a long time.

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful guesthouse and its charming host Zachary. Quiet place full of old-world charm and music, with a wonderful garden right by the National Park. I was here for three nights and the host Zachary who has a special personality took care of everything I needed: drove me to the trailhead for the waterfall, helped me out with transportation, food, restaurants and gave me delicious fruits from his garden. Chat with him, he is a very interesting person. The national park right nearby has beautiful untouched forests, amazing waterfalls, and feels like an undiscovered gem. I did day hikes to the two waterfalls and I basically had them all to myself. I will miss this place and I hope I have a chance to come back one day!

It will be hard to eat a supermarket kiwi again :)

The host was very welcoming with wine and fruits. The towels, soap and blankets were there to use (I travel minimalistic so it does matter for me). The host took me back to the bus station with his car. I didn’t needed that but he insisted. Very family like atmosphere. Super close to the National Park entrance.
