Property was good, no complaints but would be good to have a card for accessing the car park.

Spacious flat for a family with a toddler. Great location: metro less than 10 minutes away, marina - 15 minutes or so - and the sea is ~20 minutes away. The walking path is pedestrian friendly - doesn’t rely on crossing major highways on traffic lights, and is very safe. Nice and calm neighbourhood with plenty of playgrounds and restaurant options. Perfect for evening walks with a stroller/pushchair. I prefer it to the Marina - it’s less noisy and less pollution. Dogs are allowed and plenty of people in the region have their pets with them - next time we’re bringing ours over! Tip: visitors are not only allowed - but also encouraged - very awesome for long stays!! Both swimming pool and the gym seem to be operated by the hotel downstairs, so there is towel service, drinking water, steam and dry saunas, and showers (not something you can expect by default in a serviced building). If you’re staying longer periods - the host orders complementary cleaning service - which is a very nice touch.

The building is a little dated - windows are not insulating the street noise as much as one would prefer (there is construction work going on pretty much everywhere across Dubai) - including right across the street - so the view isn’t nice, and it’s noisy. One of the neighbours smokes, so when you open the window instead of ventilating using the built in ac/air circulation system - it sucks the smoke through the vents. Easy to avoid, but also if you forget - the apartment smells like a pub in the 90s.
