The location, the peace and quiet and the place itself was quite luxurious.
The stairs are quite steep and could be problematic to someone less able.
There's no parking, although we were able to find something quite near to park for free.

We got to property it had not been cleaned from
Previous occupants. We rang the number and they said booking . Com should not of booked us the stay and it was a mistake . And we couldn’t stay there . We had to drive back home that night .

The cosy feeling was lovely and bed upstairs was really comfy!
The stairs were very steep however wasn’t really an issue.
However on the first night me and my partner both checked the door was locked, we woke up and it was wide open, nothing was touched however made us feel unsafe along with many other strange noises!
We ended up leaving early.
We also arrived in the dark and it was very hard to find, took over an hour! Asked local pubs and they wasn’t sure where an earth it was!
Down a dark alley way which isn’t obvious, need a sign or something so people know where to go

Great location in the centre of Cromer, short walk to the beach and opposite a great pub. The cottage is really nicely decorated, all feels quite new. Comfy bed upstairs.
The bedroom needed a good dust and the curtains were falling off the hooks. Kitchen equipment could also do with a good clean, we had to wash a few things up before using them

Location
Stairs really dangerous. Needs better banister and grab rail at top. Shower unaccessible door very narrow and towel rail burnt skin getting in. Door needs to open out not slide. Heating was controlled via an iPad which was flat and no charger. Inadequately equipped kitchen. Stools around table wobbly and unsafe. Bedroom curtains kept coming off hooks. Freezer door in fridge broken. Fish and chip box left in bin and no bottom sheet on bed.

Located in a lovely quiet little courtyard just round the corner from the seafront. Very comfortable and cosy one-up one-down which has been well modernised while keeping old features intact. Good firm bed!
More effective bedside lights would be great for reading in bed - it's a bit dim at the moment.

The location was great and made it very easy to shop and also, in our case, go to watch the Johnny Cash Roadshow on the Pier. Also it was a nice peaceful and quiet location.

Location and cleanliness 10/10. Bed is comfortable. Quiet. Easy access and good communication with host.
5pm check in is quite late, but there is the option to pay for an earlier one.

Great location
Lots of old cobwebs and spiders in the accommodation

Cottage was very clean inside. Nicely updated and comfortable for 2 people. Bedding and towels were good quality. Welcoming treats appreciated. Quiet location but in the heart of Cromer. Very handy for The Red Lion pub just opposite for great meals.
The stairs were very ‘tricky’ especially for less sprightly folk.
Unfortunately during our stay the industrial Bin outside was full to brimming and really smelt as the day warmed up.

Spotlessly clean, great attention to detail, really comfortable bed. Location is perfect! Quiet but central. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need.
Communication was a bit slow and unresponsive originally but Cathy stepped in a couple of days before our trip and she was excellent - responded to a request and went above and beyond.
It is definitely cosy - perfect for a couple but would be very cramped with more than that.

Loved the location.
No storage cupboards for food. Icebox was so frozen only a quarter of it was useable. Therefore no use at all. External windows and sills were covered in cobwebs very unloved. Entrance to the property was blocked by huge rubbish bins therefore you could not even pull in to unload your car. You had to literally block the road.

A lovely cosy cottage. A welcome pack was on the table as we walked in with lots of useful information. The cottage has everything you need for a short break away. Location is excellent. Great pubs just across the road and a short walk into town or the beach. Bed was really comfortable so slept really well
Only issue was the parking but there is no way that can be changed. Plenty of long stay car parks to choose from on the other side of town.

Beautifully kept, all the facilities we could ask for, gorgeous touches throughout and in an absolutely ideal location.
The stairs would be a little tricky for some- very steep and narrow but didn’t affect us at all.

Cottage was clean and well presented
The fact that there was no parking and the stairs are no good for people with mobility problems

The cottage felt so nice and cosy. Very bright and airy upstairs. Perfect self-catering option bang in the middle of Cromer.
It's not really on the cottage, but the parking was a bit of a problem. Appreciate the sofa bed to accommodate more guests in however, it would be nice not to have to dig out the table from underneath all of the extra bedding. Stairs can be lethal 😅

The property was perfect and so cosy and tastefully decorated.
There was an ant problem in the kitchen which was annoying and put me off cooking.

Very clean and tidy, fantastic themed decor….perfect for a cosy weekend break. Lovely pub at the end of the road (red lion)
Very dark alleyway leading to the property, no parking so have to quickly unload and reload as it’s a narrow road.unfortunately the toilet had a leak, and leaked through the ceiling on to the downstairs dining room table, tried to contact the letting agent on the Saturday morning with no answer, so had to go through booking.com to try and get it sorted! It was a long drawn out stressful process, which was only resolved after finally getting hold of Lucy from the agents, and getting a plumber out at 3pm…..why give out a contact number when you can’t contact them? So that put a dampener on the weekend….even now they still haven’t replied to my message I sent via booking.com…not to mention the leak through the upstairs ceiling due to the storm probably dislodging a roof tile? again tried to contact the agents with no luck!

The property was quite nice and had the basics provided to a good quality. The stairs are only for the fit and able! The exterior could use some attention.
The company managing the property were terrible at communicating and providing information!

Cleanliness, and the location. Very comfy bed too
Missed not having a microwave as we ate in every night, and parking was a nightmare so had to carry our stuff a long way

Central but quiet location - really could t ask for anything more
Nothing really - my only caveat is to be aware of the staircase as it’s very steep. Would only be a concern if the guests are elderly

The location was conveniently central

Great location everything in walking distance.
Very clean & quite. Well stocked facilities in kitchen and good selection of TV viewing. Lovely touch with wine & goodies. Son liked the octopus even sleept with him and named it.
Such a shame that the court yard let's it down, but understand there is not alot can be done about this, as owner has made great effort to make the cottage looks nice.

Perfect location.
1 min from sea front.
Spotlessly clean
Comfy beds even sofa bed
The narrow stairway could be a problem for elderly/frail but my 80+ year old parents coped with them so not a huge problem .

Loved the way it has been renovated without losing it's charm. Everything has obviously been carefully planned and is very good quality. In a great central location, near the beach but tucked away which makes it quiet.
Beautiful roses round the door!
Liked everything but personally could add a shelf in the shower for bottles and maybe some empty space downstairs to keep our food bits. Neither caused a huge problem.

Beautiful compact, but lovely cottage, just a 1 minute walk to the seafront.

Wonderful location near Cromer pier and town centre.
Very comfortable small house over two floors. Extremely clean with a "new" feel as it has recently been refurbished.
Added bonus was two Samsung smart TVs which meant we could watch Netflix.

lovely cottage, cosy, tastefully decorated with everything you would need for a short break.
lacked storage but to be expected with a small cottage. no parking but plenty of car parks and road side parking for loading the car.

Beautifully presented, clean and quiet. Location excellent, centrally located.
Not so much a dislike, but just be aware of the narrow, twisty staircase (typical of old houses) which might present a challenge for those with mobility issues.
