This Spa Tower villa is a luxurious, upscale 3-bedroom unit at the Grand Luxxe resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The nearly 3,200 square foot villa is beautifully appointed and well kept by twice daily maid service. There are 4 large flat screen TV's, one in each bedroom and one in the living area.
The three bathrooms offer jetted tubs, separate walk-in showers, and double sinks. Also, in one of the bathrooms you have a private mini spa with massage table. Masseuses may be booked at the resort to provide private massages in the villa. For those wishing for a more traditional spa setting, the Spa Towers features access to the award winning Spatium, innovators of distinctive infused massages and skin treatments.
There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen sporting lots of granite and stainless steel. It includes an espresso maker and there are 3 dining areas, two indoors and one on the large wrap around terrace. If you choose not to cook, you may arrange to have dinner prepared by a private chef in your villa or catered. Of course, there is always room service available and several on-site and nearby restaurants offering everything from fine dining to eating on the beach.
The large wrap around terrace has a private splash pool, a king size bed for lounging, plush lounge chairs, and a table and chairs. The three bedrooms each have a full bath and the villa sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children.
Other amenities include free access to acres of pools (with wave pools and lazy river), beach, Beach Club, Spatium Spa and Fitness Center, Tennis, Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course and an array of fine and casual dining. Golf and spa packages are available.
Also on site at the resort is a spectacular new theater complex that houses Joya, a permanent Cirque du Soleil production that features a unique dining experience and show unlike any other in the world.
In Summer 2019, Vidanta opened Jungala - a boutique, luxury waterpark that features thrilling state-of-the-art waterslides, the longest lazy river in Latin America, an interactive play area for kids, and incredible food and beverage options in a gorgeous, natural setting on the resort property.
The Grand Luxxe is a private member owned resort operated by the Vidanta Group for its owners and guests. My family of 6 (my wife and I and 4 adults kids / SO’s) stayed in the 3 BR Grand Luxxe Spa suite in building 3. We stayed in early June, at a time when the resort was about 60-70% full. Here’s my rundown of the room and resort.Overall: This is a luxury level resort for 99.9% of the people on earth. The grounds are a beautiful jungle, the Grand Luxxe rooms are perfect, and the pools and dining facilities are very good. For comparison, we are long time Marriott owners and this resorts is way, way better than any MVC resorts we’ve ever stayed at. The 3BR Grand Luxxe was perfect for us. Each BR had its own bath, which were generous in size, the kitchen area was large (although we didn’t cook!) and the family room area was perect in terms of couches, chairs, tables, etc. The outdoor patio with pool was also fine, however we were on the lower level so we only saw jungle (and frogs and the little monkey things). The finishes in all the areas were marble or other solid surface which was nice and the beds seemed fine. Living room furnature was a little lightweight, but that made no practice difference to us. Maid service was both on time and accommodating (daily) and there were up-to-date washer and dryer down the hall from our room. (In room W/D would be a nice addition). The best part of the room was our concierge Diego who was absolutely incredible. We saw him multiple times a day and he made sure everything we needed was perfectly coordinated.
