Seeking the ideal Caribbean villa for a family reunion, a girls’ getaway, or golf trip with the guys? Look no further than the lovely villa, situated between the gorgeous reefs of Puerto Morelos and the trendy vibe of Playa del Carmen. Located 25 minutes south of the Cancun International Airport and 15 minutes to the famous shopping and activities in Playa del Carmen.
With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, there’s plenty of room for everyone in this fully equipped seaside home within the gated community of Playa Paraiso. Tastefully designed by local master architect Jesus Romero, the home boasts gorgeous marble floors, ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout.
Upstairs you will find three beautifully appointed suites with king beds. The Master Suite includes a sitting area, writing desk, television, and a gorgeous en-suite bathroom with a corner jacuzzi tub. The spacious and comfortable Ocean and Garden Terrace Suites share a large bathroom conveniently located outside each bedroom door. There is access from our two oceanside bedrooms to the full-length beach view balcony, which is a great place to enjoy your first cup of coffee and plan your day each morning!
Downstairs you will find two additional bedroom suites: The Downstairs Ocean Suite, with another king- sized bed, and the sweetly decorated Twin Suite, both with en-suite full bathrooms. There is ample closet space, along with an elevated design aesthetic throughout.
The open concept living area is both stylish and comfortable, with plenty of seating, wireless broadband internet, DISH satellite television, a full gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances and stunning granite countertops, and a conveniently located half-bath. Everything you need to enjoy your vacation has been thoughtfully provided for you. We initially chose this house for its size and location to the ocean. We are a family of 9 - 8 adults and a toddler. We stayed for a week. The house is great although was not equipped as advertised. As we were cooking for ourselves, we made a grocery stop before arrival. When we arrived at the house, we were disappointed to find no spices as advertised except for a half shaker of pepper. The pots and pans were very worn and everything we cooked stuck. The griddle on the stove was rusted and did not work. The outside grill did not get hot enough to cook food safely. The kitchen needs some love. New pots and pans and baking sheets are highly recommended. The kitchen lighting is poor and a lot of lights were burned out.Other than that, everything else is well maintained except for the bedroom with the twin beds. Neither the toilet nor the shower worked. We mentioned this to the host upon arrival but it was never repaired during our stay. Pool towels were abundant but the kitchen lacked dish drying towels. Maid service was good. They came every odd day and did a thorough cleaning and washed the towels/bedding.The host was responsive to our request for more bottled water, although it took a full day for it to arrive.You definitely need a car if staying here as it is a 15 minute drive to Playa or Puerto Morelos. Clean, safe home with a very nice pool but not worth the price paid. Unable to utilize the beach due to sargassum seaweed which starts annually in May. We lost water for 12 hours. Ants were bad in kitchen. 2 doors down is an event center so loud music until 11 pm 3 nights.
