Das sehr freundliche Personal. Der Chef spricht drei Sprachen, auch deutsch Wunderbar der Mensch, der für die Küche zuständig ist. Es macht ihm Freude, den Gästen zu servieren. Ausflug und Weiterreise wurden perfekt organisiert und schließlich: die Lage, im Zentrum und trotzdem völlig ruhig.

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers war ein wenig spartanisch. Kein Stuhl, Ablagen und Haken im Bad wären zweckmäßig. Allerdings kann man vor den Zimmern schön und gepolstert sitzen.

Great location - close to the town centre. train station and tourist sites. It was great having a sitting room / seating area outside our room and we used it daily. The air conditioning was great and the bed comfortable and clean. The Jaffna Inn represents excellent value for money, has a lift which made getting luggage up and downstairs easy and the owner and manager were really helpful and kind.

The dining room advertised on Booking.com was closed when we visited - we were told the chef had left. There were no tea/coffee and the jug on our floor could not be plugged into a Sri Lankan power point. Neither the sitting room area nor my room were cleaned during a stay of 4 days. I didn't have a towel rack or anywhere to hang clothing and I had a cold shower on 3 of the 4 nights I stayed - possibly because there was a master switch that I didn't know I had to turn on - I figured I must have inadvertently switched it on on the last night, Sometimes the staff member on duty spoke no English and I spoke no Tamil, so it was hard to communicate at times.
