About this house rental
Vacation to a true home-away-from-home coastal experience in this stunning two bedroom beach house in South Mission Beach. Soak up the San Diego sunshine from sunrise to sunset in this sweet humble abode. The outdoor patio space combines luxury living with comfort as its complete with a spacious sectional sofa, outdoor dining set, and a barbecue so you can enjoy delicious homemade meals outside while still in the comfort of your own home. The decor, furnishings, and entire vibe of the home will make you want to extend your vacation in this glimpse of paradise.

This is a ground floor home of a duplex property. The upstairs unit is also a rental; noise may be heard from time to time.
While the ground floor patio space is exclusively private for your unit, the upstairs guest may enter through the shared entry gate to walk up to their unit.
San Diego Airport flight path runs over South Mission Bay. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.
Attention:
This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you for staying with us!

First I'd like to say that Drift Vacations is the most professional yet friendly property management team I have worked with. From the very start they were responsive to email, notified us of a possible problem before our arrival, and while at the property continued to communicate. I will use them again whenever travelling to San Diego.
The Property itself was clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to work in. As said in other reviews, the bedding could use an upgrade and the furniture is ok. We liked the cozy feeling of the place. The area is perfectly located, quiet yet easy walking distance to all the activities.
The patio is amazing and adds square footage to the home. We had two different experiences with the patio. The first week nobody was staying upstairs. So the patio was very private and lovely to hang out and enjoy. The second week there were 6-8 people and a dog upstairs. They used the stairs from the upstairs property frequently that lead to the patio. They had to walk through the patio anytime they wanted to get to the walk path that lead to the beach, bay or anything outdoors. This was much less private. We felt it took away one of the best assets of the property.
All in all it was a great vacation in San Diego

Great place to stay. Just a few steps from either Mission Beach or Mariners Basin. Very responsive host. Modern appliances, clean and matched the photos. Well equipped and plenty of supplies on hand.

Great location. Nice useable kitchen. Appliances and cookware were good. Mattress in master bedroom was terrible. It needs to be replaced. Linen was very low quality. Pillows were uncomfortable and lumpy. Furniture in living room was very low quality and very uncomfortable.
