Absolutely loved this BnB. The hosts were excellent, really thoughtful old school environment. We had a complimentary tea service in the evening (well needed after our long walk). The room was finished really beautifully, with thoughtful little touches like a home made flapjack. My boyfriend injured his knee and couldn't keep walking the next day, and Ann went above and beyond to sort a taxi for us asap. Really worthwhile coming out of your way from coniston to stay here. Really comfy bed and view of the old man of coniston from here. We'd love to go back!
