The location and apartment were great. I was write in the centre of the town looking out from a top floor apartment onto a very pretty cobbled street, where I could see market stalls and bands/singers from my window. Although this probably doesnt happen all the time, I really enjoyed all the events going on outside and the lovely little coffee shops and restaurants etc. The apartment was perfect for me, as going away on my own is something I rarely do and I was surprised how much I could really enjoy myself and relax. I had been meaning to visit Romsey for a long time and hadn't realised what a beautiful place it is.

I wasnt prepared for the steep stairs to get up to the apartment. I had brought a big suitcase and couldnt carry it up, so put everything into small bags to take up, with a few visits back and forth to the car. Not too much of a problem though.

Very handy as right in the middle of Romsey, nest the Abbey. Flat small but perfectly adequate for a short 4 might stay. Clean and neat. Key box simple to operate. View from 3rd floor across the town nice.

Pub had live music so was serenade by badly sung Oasis unto midnight at weekend. I managed the two flights of stairs ok and I'm 74 with a dodgy knee but I managed it, difficult if you have heavy luggage though, which I didn't
