Horror Stay at Beddoe Apartments

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! Located on a very busy road with NO privacy from street view windows and no security if you opened the windows. We did not feel safe in this accommodation. The room stank of well-aged mildew which you could smell from outside the door! IT WAS STOMACH TURNING! There was no ventilation unless you opened the front facing windows which as stated, was unsafe as anyone could reach in and take anything placed on the tiny table or throw anything into the room (or climb in, for that matter)! There were ants on the kitchen bench and sink area and even on the bed. The carpet in the entry foyer was putrid! The entire place smelt awful for the miserable two nights we stayed. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Location

This place is not sound proof, could hear neighbour sneezing. Very uncomfortable bed with very thin pillows and duvet. Extremely poor quality. Sticky bin so had to go back after throwing rubish away(yes you are responsible to do that) Wouldn't stay there again sadly. I've actually tried to help the owner and mentioned pillows and duvets, got defensive. Big shame as place has potential

Convenient place to stay for small family.

The host was very accommodating, Samantha was a great help during our transfer and the location was great both for us adults and for our kid.

The (dinning) table was a bit small for us.

The flat was nice but due to uncomfortable and very noisy nights we had no sleep and would'nt return

The location was good for us. Very near to a good shop and restaurants.

I asked for linen to be left for the sofa bed but there was none to be found. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the road was very noisy with bad double glazing. It was very expensive for what it was.

Sam the owner was most helpful as I was in nights she allowed me to check in early and check out later due to coming off nights I will stay there again as the facilities were excellent

OK for a short stay

Very comfy bed and bed linen. Nice big towels, too. Heater very responsive... So nice and warm.

The dim lighting, the bedside lamp kept flashing and the TV could do with being on a swivel bracket so that you can watch it in bed plus a guide on how to use it. Also, a few more bits of cutlery would be useful.

It’s was cosy

The manager tries to bump you for your money, tried to accuse me of stealing to keep my deposit and o my returned it because I had taken pictures that proved the items were never there to begin with, I wouldn’t recommend a stay here but if you do make sure to take pictures of the whole property for proof

Loved the location, very clean, central

Being on the second floor, our lounge/kitchen window was right above the front/entrance door, which was not good as other people living in the apartments were smoking under the window, we had to keep the window shut
