Explore the wonders of Pacific Grove from this “home away from home” that’s within easy walking distance of the beach, local parks and downtown dining and shopping.

The pet and family-friendly 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence is just steps away from spectacular Lovers Point, the Pacific Grove Natural History Museum and other local attractions, including Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links, Point Pinos Lighthouse and Asilomar State Beach.

Beautifully remodeled with modern conveniences and Americana designer touches throughout, the 2000-square-foot home is in the heart of Pacific Grove’s city park network, and is right across the street from Caledonia Park, which includes a tots’ play area, climbing equipment for older children and picnic tables.

Guests enter down several brick steps to the front door, which opens into a foyer that provides access to the first floor and the garage.
The three-level home provides plenty of space in which to gather or to find quiet, private time throughout the space.

Living Spaces
The main living areas are on the second level which features an open floor plan blending the family room, dining room and kitchen, ideal for gathering the whole family together.
The beautifully decorated living room with gas fireplace, local coastal artwork and seashell lamps has slip covered sofas and a 46-inch HDTV. This spacious room with lofted ceilings is a wonderful gathering space.
The family room offers a cozy seating area with a gas fireplace and comfortable upholstered furniture, adjacent to the wooden dining table with seating for 6 and a marble-topped bar area with beverage refrigerator. Doors from the family room lead to a balcony with a gas grill and outdoor seating, a perfect place to watch the sunset.

Kitchen
Between the living and family room spaces, the kitchen features Italian-made cabinetry, and high-end stainless steel appliances that include a six-burner Wolf gas range, a farmhouse apron sink and marble counter-tops.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
On the third level, Bedroom #1 is a suite that includes a California king bed, a large closet, full-length mirror and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a shaving mirror, a separate deep soaking tub, dual vessel sinks and custom tile work and peeks of the bay from upper-story windows. Please note that there is no door at the top of the stairs, so this bedroom is audibly open to the staircase and lower level.

Down on the first level you will find two bedrooms that each have doors that open onto a brick patio on the side of the home. These bedrooms share a hallway bath with a vessel sink and tub/shower combination with custom tile.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has a twin day bed with a twin trundle that can sleep 1-2.
A half-bath is located near the living areas on the second floor.

A laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer is available in the lower level hallway.

Front and back yards are landscaped with succulents, flowers and citrus trees.

The garage has space for one larger vehicle or two small vehicles, with additional parking available on the street. A ChargePoint Level 2 EV Charger is available for guest use. Bring your cable and adaptor.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

The house was in a perfect location, on a quiet street next to a small park within easy walking distance to great restaurants like Passionfish, Lovers Point, and the coastal walk to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. The furnishings were comfortable, particularly the elevated living room over the garage, with attractive artwork. Kitchen had high end appliances, although we only used the refrigerator. It was nice to be greeted with a bottle of wine, crackers and boursin. The description was accurate that the driveway is too small to park, so cars need to fit in the garage. We could just fit a Pacifica minivan due to its length, and also a Jetta next to it (ask passengers to disembark before pulling in). If you have issues with wooden stairs, this would not be suitable as you have to navigate some steps for every level. The master is on the top floor, dining/kitchen/living room/deck on the second floor, and the other two bedrooms are half a flight down from the entry and the garage. There was an inaccuracy in the AirBNB description that we were not aware of until after we paid and got the bed configuration request form from Sanctuary. The third room does not have room for two twin beds, it is a twin bed and a small trundle that pulls out from under the bed. It is all right for two kids, but too tight for two young adults. Also, it was difficult to figure out how to control the water temperature in the master shower, so some directions would be helpful. We had a chilly first night as we did not know the heat was turned off in January. We turned it on for the second night, but it turned itself off some time in the middle of the night. So more instructions on temperature control would have been helpful, too. Overall, a fantastic experience in a great location. The management company was prompt to answer queries, accessible on day of check in and also called the next day to check that everything was ok.

We arrived at the Sanctuary Vacation Rental late at night and was pleasantly surprised that the house offers a private 2 car garage. Street parking is limited so immediately upon arrival, our stay became stress free. The house is centrally located, walking distance from the water and restaurants. However, a car is suggested to go to nearby Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey. The house is super clean and has all the amenities of home. The WiFi can be a bit spotty on the bottom and top floors but the main floor is fast and reliable. The grand room is spacious with a large-screen tv. The kitchen has all the appliances and cooking supplies you desire. There's a bbq on the patio but we didn't use it. FYI, we did contact the property management about the WiFi and they communicated immediately and offered to send a technician to address the issue but it wasn't that bad since we weren't home alot. I highly recommend this property and the customer service that goes along with the rental.

We spent a long weekend at this clean, well furnished home very close to Lovers Point. We had a family if 6 spend the weekend. The bedrooms were spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to host Easter dinner. We would highly recommend this listing.

The beautiful photos don't do this gorgeous house justice! We had a SUPERB time in this luxe and lovely home. 3 couples shared the place for 3 nights and we could have stayed forever! The location is beyond perfection - just steps from the sea and a short and lovely walk to the aquarium. The house is so well appointed and the vast living room (with fireplace!) was so great for our board games together and our working apart. The kitchen was full of great appliances and amenities (including an outside grill on the balcony!) and we had so much fun cooking that we ate in every night at the huge dining room table. The welcome included wine and cheese. And the master bedroom upstairs is incredible! The bathtub!
Everything was perfect. Cannot recommend this dream villa highly enough! Thank you!

The house was great - everything we needed for our stay. We were visiting for a wedding and had the chance to explore around Monterey as well. The house had plenty of space - great common area for the kids to hang out and for us to enjoy the fireplace. The location is perfect - close to Lover's Point, coffee shops, and a playground right across the street.
