Perfect City Centre Location - Historic Albion Mews

The location was superb - tucked inside the city wall. The bed was super comfortable and the peppery was really quiet given the location. It was just a home from home.

The location was perfect and having parking right outside was a real bonus. Whilst not huge, the whole apartment was light and airy. The bed was very comfortable indeed!

The location is excellent. Very close to the Roman wall and walking distance to all city attractions, restaurants etc. It is a small apartment but it was clean and nicely supplied with tea, coffee croissants , butter jam etc. it has a washing machine which is great for travellers. There was parking outside. Economically priced.

The entire building was covered in scaffolding and extensive repair works were being undertaken. Workmen were crawling over the building- on planks at the windows so we had to keep blinds pulled all the time. Then there was the noise factor. It was quite a shock to encounter this on arrival. We had to make our way through a tunnel of scaffolding to find the front door. We were not advised of this situation before booking or arriving and should have been. The hosts should be obliged to let potential guests know about such extensive works being undertaken. So check the status of the building works before booking this apartment.
