Fraudsters!

It was a nice house

When we left, the company attempted to take £750, £500, £400 and £250 from my card saying that we used drugs and that we made damage which we never to both. The company are fraudsters and look for an excuse to take money from your bank account.

You get what you pay for, buy cheap get cheap. well except for the bed bugs

Value and space

Bed bugs, very tired throughout the property, lots of damage, freezer overflowing with ice, bins overflowing and riddled with flies. Not enough toilet paper or hand soap.

It’s was fine for the two nights we needed but wouldn’t stay again

Cool having a pool table, living room was cute but small. Close to everything we needed

Wasn’t cleaned properly at all, found a used tampon applicator in the first floor bathroom cupboard. Stains everywhere, you could tell it just wasn’t properly cleaned. Also paid a £250 damage deposit which hasn’t been returned even after being given a 5 star review from the owners.

The property was very clean on arrival and the instructions around entering and leaving were very straightforward.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the pool cues were all damaged and the shower facilities were at best acceptable.

Multiple issues, we left after one night, but despite raising it, the refund is now being withheld.

It was in an area that was close to site.

There was several issues with the property. 1. The shower water was leaking through the bathroom floor onto the kitchen worktop close to the cooker. 2. There was no hot water on arrival, and was then informed it would take two days by maintenance to resolve this issue. 3. There was visibly soiled stains taken from the "clean" towel box from the cupboard. 4. The place felt generally unclean throughout. Our team ended up only staying the first night as it was to late to change. I contacted Cefas in the morning the next day to be told they didn't have any properties to change to and they would resolve the issue as swiftly as possible. The only thing swift was the lack of communication there after. They are now with holding the refund that I have requested back through the appropriate channels.

Great space, nice sized rooms and plenty of beds. Easy wifi connection, lots of space for storage like draws and wardrobes. There were enough plates and cups and cutlery for all of us. It has a really nice homely feeling. The pool table was a lovely addition although we didn't get a chance to play 😃

Beds do need to be replaced as they seem very worn out and noisy when we turn in our sleep but the blankets kinda make up for it as they are clean and warm so you get this comfortable rest. Thermostat may need batteries replaced before heating works but I didn't have the time to go out and buy them to check if the radiators would come on... Shower in middle floor is extremely tiny and none of us could get the water temperature warm... it was steaming hot so everyone just used the top floor bathroom which was decent I feel it does need a bit of tlc maybe new beds, bigger sinks and maybe some mirrors in the bedrooms would help

Problems getting in, cleanliness questionable. Manageable for one night

Location good, easy access to city centre.

On arrival, keys didn’t work with an over complicated key and door opening process. On calling them it took forever to convince owners and we had to send video evidence through a fiddly process. In the end after more than 45 minutes, they sent someone in a taxi with another key who, with some unconvincing responses used their key to get in. They wouldn’t admit the issue and left us not convinced we would be able to go out or back in safely. Cleanliness is questionable. Dodgy sockets, wouldn’t trust it around children. Bathrooms were full of significant wear and tear on arrival. Once in, for our group only being there one night it was ok. We agreed a 1 hour late checkout due to problems but the cleaner still turned up early and sat outside the door.

Difficult to like

It was spacious, parking is good and the location is convenient.

It wasn’t very clean and they had a rat problem. This led to a gas pipe being gnawed and the boiler breaking down, so we had no hot water and heating for 2 days. The staff were communicative and did concede a 15% refund, however we didn’t feel that was enough really given the circumstances.

Great house highly recommend safe,affordable and near city centre

The property was excellent very clean and well kept and had a homely feel it was very comfortable and suited our stay hardly any issues with the home it was suited for long or short stays, overall fantastic.

The only issues we had was opening the security door was quite difficult to get it open and struggled a lot at first and felt the instructions needed to be a bit clearer but once we got the hang of it, it was mostly okay from there to get in and out.

Very clean, comfortable and colourful decor. Lovely bright kitchen fully equipped with a nice dining area.

The rooms were a bit stuffy and it was difficult to regulate the temperature of the shower in the bathroom on the last floor.

Zorg als je iets gaat verhuren dat het in ieder geval schoon ! De vloer in de badkamer op de eerste verdieping is verrot, toilet zitting waren slecht (kleine moeite om te vervangen) ,en zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan.al met al jammer dat we er zaten.
