Comfortable but many little things spoilt the experience. You expect more when you are paying premium prices.

The location was great and the property was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was nice and warm. Becka from admin was very responsive.

The furniture is very worn and some armchairs were heavily stained and looked unpleasant. Most furniture needs replacing and the same goes for the hob that looks well overworked. The bathroom also needs some maintenance as the silicone on most edges has started going mouldy. When we’ve asked about a hair dryer (as detailed in the facilities) and a bath mat. The response was that should be one in the apartment already, which was not true . Nevertheless we borrowed one from a friend that lives local. Hosts never followed up on that request. Also for a long stay ( more than a three days) should be a provision for extra towels , bedsheets and toilet paper without extra charge . That is not the case !!

overall the stay was pleasant and a nice opportunity to discover manchester outside the city center

the appartment was in a cosy neighbourhood with a really nice cafe nearby, also there was a market on saturday with local producers, so it was a very nice activity. The appartment has a nice living room to relax and the bedrooms were very comfortable

The bathroom had some issues with ventilation, but it was a bit better after openning the window as well as the shower head was old. The appartment was a bit further from the city center than expected, there’s a 8 min walk to the tram stop and then it takes around 15 minutes to get to the center

Weekend stay for a 4-member family

The location is good, near to tram and bus. Shops are close to buy food and supplies (a Morrissons is 5 minutes walk, smaller shops just accross the street). Big enough for 4 persons, with two good bedrooms on the upper floor. Wifi worked well. Kitchen had everything we needed. It has a larger (3-draw) freezer too. We went for the weekend to go to Liverpool football game, for that it was nice stay.

Tha house is renwed, but not recently and the structures are old, meaning noises, loose things, etc. No big problem though. The sofa has been stained and not a clean feeling, otherwise cleanliness was ok. Bedrooms are very noise and the double beds are not wide, for 2 days were ok.

I will honestly say there was nothing not to like. The property was 2 minutes from Tesco express, it was right near a fabulous coffee area. There was easy access to the Metro 5 mins walk maximum away, and 11 mins on a tram to the city. The staff were absolutely amazing nothing was too much trouble for them. IT was quiet Cosy warm and a very well kitted out Airbnb - Fabulous comfortable bathroom and rooms and it was quiet even though near a main road - you could not hear the outside world. Actual score would be 11 out of 10 from us.

1. Location was good 2. Size of the appartment was good

1. Bad smell in the bathroom, it seems the heater 2. The living room sofas were not clean 3. I did not receive the information on check-in in advance 4. I received a note about I was going to be charged for "stolen canvas". Even this claim was cancelled afterwards, I found very rud being acuse of stole something. I recommend for the host to verify before making such an aggressive accusation

Once the access issues were sorted, I enjoyed my stay and the location was excellent.

When I arrived, I entered the code that had been sent to me into the key box but unfortunately there were no keys. I had asked for a 3pm check in and it was after 3pm when I arrived. I called the number I had been given 5 times and eventually someone rang me back. I was told that someone would be with my with 10 minutes to let me in. I waited on the doorstep (fortunately it was a dry day). Then another person rang me to say that it would take more than 30 minutes to get new keys cut and to bring them to me. However, he also said that he would put me in a different (but same facilities) flat and gave me the number for the key box of the new flat. There were keys in that box so I was able to access the property. Apart from the initial stress of not being able to get in after a 4 hour drive, It was sorted reasonably quickly and I enjoyed my stay overall.

It was wonderful.

The location. Close to restaurants and the rail system.

The only minor problem we had was that we didn’t have hot water to bathe on our last day. I didn’t let the hosts know as we were leaving the next day. I’m sure they would have attended to the problem had I raised the concern.

A comfortable stay

Situated in a fantastic spot, short walk from cafes, takeaways, pubs, bars and convenience stores. Lovely spacious rooms.

Extremely hot - no AC available so was difficult to sleep at night. No cleaning provided during the stay, I had to request the vacuum cleaner which was dropped off full of dirt which I had to clean out myself. Iron stand was broken and collapsed-which hurt my finger.

overall it was a good experience although I think it was a little expensive.

Kitchen was nice. Plenty of pots pans cooking utensils etc. The appartment was nice and clean. Just big enough for a family of four adults. Advert photos are a little deceiving...wide angle lens !

We found it difficult to find the entrance to the building. Unfortunately the electric heaters in some of the rooms and the bathrooms didn't work and so these rooms were cold. The shower took a while to understand the controls and parts of the mechanism were very loose.

A very poor experience considering the amount paid.

Property is in a good location with many local amenities.

- The day before we were due to the depart my partner realised there was a nail sticking out of the floor in one of the bedrooms. This nail was wedged into the floorboard and could have potentially caused serious injury to my 20 month old who is of running age. - On one of the nights at 8pm soon after my child had fallen asleep, I could hear loud noises coming from downstairs which is currently an empty shop. I went downstairs to see there were builders doing work using power tools. I told them that this is unacceptable and they need to stop after which he apologised and stated the landlord who owns the entire building including where I was residing had sent them at this time to do the work. This caused disturbance to my child's sleep and is totally unacceptable if the landlord had permitted that. - Upon arrival the apartment did not look like it had been cleaned thoroughly - The tap water in this apartment tasted full of chemicals - Upon arrival there was only half a tissue roll left in the bathroom

Not the best rest we had...

The apartment is good in size. The beds are good.

Flat #4 in this building points towards the street. the Blinds are useless against the cars glaring into the room throughout the whole night. Specifically when we stayed, a group of drunk kids got their car stop just in front of the building at 4am and they made noise for a full hour which didn't let us sleep at all. The rest was just trying to ignore the lights from the passing cars. The house wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Some of the bins had old trash in them. A few hairs in the shower.

Stay was great loved the apartment and it’s location.

Everything was great. Lovely delicatessen across the road. Tesco express next door. Nice bars and restaurants close by. 10 min walk to team and 25 mins to Old Trafford. Apartment exactly as photos advertised. Great stay.

Maybe twin beds in 2nd bedroom for families. Just a personal opinion.

I arrived on a Sunday morning and the taxi driver from the airport dropped me at a wrong location even when I provided him the correct address and left causing me great inconvenience with three big luggages. I called Emma from Chorlton and she was kind enough to answer although it was a Sunday morning and helped me find the location. There were some pleasentries in the apartment and I truly felt being welcomed. The apartment was very clean and all the amenities necessary were in place. The location was also a great one. It took just a 10 minute drive to the Manchester Centre. Within walking distance there were convenient stores, pubs and restaurant. All in all a great place to stay.

Charming Chorlton

This has to be one of my favourite finds on Booking.com. I stayed at the hotel for the Manchester Marathon with my friends and family. The rooms are large and spacious and the living room kitchen has everything that you could need. The Host even left celebrations on the table when we arrived. The apartment is located just across from a really nice bakery, and there is a great pizzeria just around the corner and lots of other awesome shops and eateries. Not a far walk from Old Trafford Cricket ground and close to a Tesco express in case you forget anything. Some little touches we noticed: The toilet paper was great quality, there were plenty of tea and coffee sachets, the TV allowed for Netflix and other streaming apps.

There isn't much we didn't like. I would recommend making the bed's sofa beds and providing extra bedding / quilts and covers. There wasn't much parking in the area, especially on Marathon day as the route went right past the apartment. All in all I don't have any complaints. A lovely spot
