It is in a very quiet town which was great from a break from the city. View was incredible from my room, and a 10 min walk up the hill gives a spectacular view of the villages engulfed by the forest mountains of the Black Forest region. The host was so nice that they opened up the kitchen just for me as I came late and was very hungry. Language barrier was not a problem as we just used google translate, which was sufficient.
I was ready to leave in the morning at about 8am and no one was around to check out. I had to improvise by leaving the key on the door and had to hope that I had done everything I needed to.

Friendliest staff/owner, super chatty and nice! Excellent food in their restaurant, sitting on the terrace and enjoying a glass of wine was pure bliss.
Rooms are simple but clean, you get what you pay for. No complaints!
