The flat is beautiful. The restaurant, the café and the shop attached to this guesthouse is super. We ordered Flammkuchen, which is one of the best Flammkuchen we ever had. And the cakes in the café are super yummy. If you stay here, definitely need to try them.

we stayed here at the beginning and at the end of our skiing trip. excellent and comfortable overnight stay for the entire family. The room was big enough divided into 2 areas perfect when traveling with kids. The restaurant serves delicious dinner and breakfast, all with locally produced products.

Special experience, in style

The room is very spacious and it has style. The shower is very big and comfortable. The shared kitchen is just very welcoming and has everything! Including free tea or coffee. The concept is very appealing and the attitude of personal and the entire atmosphere is just very authentic. You feel special being in that place. The restaurant served great food, local seasonal and, unusually, with a good vegetables choice of dishes. The location is remote from any city centre, but that makes it special. Yet there are attractions just a short drive away. I wish we could stay longer.

Too warm this time

A haven on our way through Europe. Perfectly located close to the autobahn but still in very calm and green surroundings. Nice garden with restaurant with many guests and great food and beer. Nice clean hotel and good breakfast

This time (a part from our last visit) we were given a room on the top floor/attic. The room itself was nice and clean (even though our last room was very big and nice) but it was too warm during the night since the weather was very hot and there was no air con in the room. Just a fan in one of the rooms. Tough night.

Perfect stay with our kids and dogs. Apartment was equipped with everything what was necessary and the breakfast was something to look forward to. Harald was very helpfull during whole our stay. Will come back for sure.

Very warmly recommended

Due to hours of travelling delay, our family arrived way after kitchen closure. However, the owner fully understood the meaning of the word hospitality and arranged a really superb supper in our room - together with a personal note. Great perspective on guests' needs!

We booked this space last minute. The rooms are big and comfortable and provide all you need. You are right in the countryside and we enjoyed the easy going and quiet vibe. In the weekend it was possible to join dinner in the garden. They also provided a farm shop. Checking in was easy as well.

Hervorragendes familiengeführtes Wohlfühl-Haus mitten in der Natur mit hochwertigem Frühstück

Eine 10 von 10 - es ist ein bisschen wie Urlaub bei meinen Geschäftsreisen (man kann hier aber auch sehr gut Urlaub machen) , ob im Sommer oder Winter. Schon bei der Zufahrt über die Felder an Pferdegestüten vorbei kommt ein Erholungsfeeling auf, welches sich sofort nach Ankunft bestätigt. Das Gästehaus ist total gemütlich und hochwertig ausgestattet. Es gibt einen grossen Gemeinschaftsraum in dem man auch das Frühstück, welches mit qualitativ hochwertigen Brötchen, Croissants etc. vom Bäcker, Wurst vom Metzger, Käse aus einem Käsladen, Obst aus oft eigenem Anbau wie auch Gemüse, Müsli, gekochtes Ei, Frischkäse, usw. aufwartet, also alles top und gesund, einnimmt. Hier kann man sich auch wann immer man möchte am Kaffeeautomaten bedienen und kostenloses Wasser gibt es auch. Es gibt eine grosse Terrasse, die man nutzen kann, die Zimmer oder Appartements haben Terrasse oder Balkon. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut mit schönem Holz und auch der Boden mit hochwertigem Material ausgestattet, das Bad modern mit schönen Fliesen. Die Matratzen sind etwas härter, man kann sich aber auch einen Topper wünschen. Alle Räume sind tiptop sauber, in der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig, da das Anwesen mitten in der Natur liegt. Manchmal hört man Stimmen aus der Natur. Die Mitarbeiter (meist ist Andreas vor Ort) sind sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam und man kann immer auch einen netten "Schwätz" halten. Parkplätze gibt es kostenfrei am Haus. Die Gartenwirtschaft / das Restaurant ist saisonal geöffnet, wie auch der Obst.- und Gemüseladen. Auf dem Johanneshof fühlt man sich rundherum wohl und ich nehme sogar einige Umwege in Kauf um nur hier übernachten zu können. Preislich alles total im Rahmen für die tolle Leistung.

Eine Perle, versteckt im Rheinbogen zwischen Hockenheim und Speyer. Das ganze Team so nett wie seine beiden Chefs. Kein Convinience Food, alles vom eigenen Hof oder befreundeten Landwirten und Produzenten. Alle Gästezimmer mit Balkon oder Terrasse. Ein kleines Paradies.

Herzlicher Hof mit viel Wohlfühlgefühl!

Auf dem Johanneshof zu übernachten war ein schönes und herzliches Erlebnis! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, das Personal war mehr als aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ruhig und dennoch war immer etwas los auf dem Hof( Betrieb Hofladen/Gastwirtschaft etc). Als Familie hat man den Bonus den Spielplatz direkt mit der Gastwirtschaft verbunden zu haben, das ist praktisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet hätten wir jederzeit nutzen können, wir haben uns aber selbst verpflegt. Da ist der Johanneshof sehr flexibel. Die Gemeinschaftsküche bot alles was man zum Kochen brauchte! Das Zimmer war sauber und so geräumig! Das Essen in der Gastwirtschaft war top, der Service auch! Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden und sagen danke für alles, wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen:)

Hier wird eine Geschäftsreise zum erholsamen Urlaub auf dem Land ;-)

Die Lage war sehr ländlich und vor allem bei der Anreise am späten Abend etwas abgelegen. Der Schlüssel war vor Ort hinterlegt (hier hätte die Kommunikation vorab etwas besser sein können) und obwohl die Küche bei der Ankunft nach 22.00 Uhr schon zu hatte, gabs zumindest noch ein sehr gutes Stück Torte. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, eine Flasche Wasser gabs ebenso wie einen gesunden Snack. Die Nacht war absolut ruhig und ich habe lange nicht so gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war liebevoll zubereitet, mit merklich hochwertigen, sehr frischen und gesunden Zutaten. Auch Vegetarier kamen mit der sehr guten Auswahl an Obst und vor allem frischen Beeren auf ihre Rechnung. Alles in allem ein Aufenthalt, bei dem meine Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen wurden.

Wenn man auf sehr hohem Niveau jammern möchte, könnte man sich einen kräftigeren Kaffee sowie Spiegeleier zum Frühstück wünschen.
