HENRI Hotel Wien

The hotel is a few minutes walk from local metro stations, and only a brief walk in to the main city centre, easy to get to local cafes/restaurants. The room was nice and clean with comfortable bed, small balcony to catch the morning sun. The hotel has someone on the desk at all times, as they have older fashioned doors with key locks, and the keyring is quite weighty so best to leave with them whilst going out for the day

The only real thing that I could have an issue with was the shower positioning in the bath, it was central which meant if it moved whilst you were showering quite often the overspray was going out the tub on to the floor, and not just a little

I was on the second floor and sometimes at night it could be a bit noisy with people in the dining room downstairs. I'd go for a higher floor in future.

The service was great, props to the staff. The breakfast was quite good - a large variety of simple, yet tasty food. The location is very central, which was quite helpful considering our short stay (2 nights).

The main thing we didn't like was the cleanliness - everything in our rooms was very dirty. Dust and all kinds of different hairs all over the place - on furniture, on towels, etc. Turning on the hair dryer (which was extremely loud) made huge dust bunnies pop out from under the furniture. The bathroom tile grout could definitely use a good cleaning and/or replacement. Additionally, the cold water knob on the bathroom sink faucet was almost broken (in our room, but it was almost the same in our family members' room, as well) and made it very difficult to turn on and to stop the water. Considering all this, we wouldn't visit again.
