Sunset Apartment Home & Terrace

The location was sensational and the apartment had everything we needed. It was great to have your own castle next door!

The stairs up to the 3rd floor with luggage was a struggle during the heatwave, but the view made it all worthwhile.

The view directly overlooking the castle and the water was spectacular. It was a privilege to be there! The location right by the bridge into the city was perfect. Access to the lake was a two minute walk. The facilities of the apartment allowed you to cook a simple Italian meal using ingredients bought in the local family grocery shop - and eat it on the balcony with the castle & lake view. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the washing machine worked well so you could dry your clothes on the balcony. It was only a few minutes walk to catch the ferries to various parts of the lake. We booked parking through Grifo parking as cars are not generally allowed into the old city without special permission. The secure parking was only 10 minutes walk away from the apartment and avoided the hassle of trying to drive through the crowded narrow streets of Sirmione. The host was very helpful with all aspects of booking and sent links through Booking.com for parking, city tax, etc. All in all, a fabulous place to stay.

The apartment is up several flights of stairs so you need to be fit and/or have light luggage.

The view from the balcony was stunning! The apartment was in the heart of the old town, less than a minute from the restaurants and shops. It was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will be back soon. Nicola was extremely helpful as a host.
