Could not stay due to health concerns, wasted journey

Unable to stay in property due to the unsanitary conditions it had been left in. It had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Urine stains on mattresses, bedding that smelt of urine. Unable to contact caravan owner as they refuse to acknowledge messages being sent requesting refund. Booking.com unable to help.

Filthy! Rip off !! Cleaned the whole caravan on arrival from previous guests! And bought brand new bedding, with receipt

Filthy. Unclean from the previous guest’s. Spoke to the owner, and came to an agreement that if we cleaned it and bought/purchased new bedding… we would be reimbursed by “booking.com ! Who will now not acknowledge or respond to any emails etc! Plenty of photos to prove of the uncleanliness of the entire static !!! This could easily have been sorted between ourselves…and or either booking.com or the owner! But nothing from either party!!!

Read the above!! Disgusting! No response from booking.com or the owner!!!

Love staying In this caravan very clean it's near places we just love Withernsea we come all time

The TV was broke couldn't get it working and the toilet seats were wobble but apart from that all good

Enjoyed the stay, ideal location, van smelt and bedding didn’t look and smell clean

Lovely location a short walk to beach and town.

On booking.com it did state on facilities that there were towels and toiletries but none of either. We couldn’t shower while we where there. The bedding didnt smell clean and was old mud matched and bobbly and the caravan smelt mucky.

I have stayed in this caravan a few times now, travel every week for work. The negative reviews a little OTT I have seen but an honest account I can agree with some as follows... Overall a spacious caravan I feel perfectly reasonable for anyone to stay in. No Wifi No number on caravan so be prepared to be wandering around trying to find it ! The owner must remove from listing towels are in the property as there are none ! The owner needs to ensure this is relayed to guests for them to bring their own which includes tea towels and toilet roll as there isn't always much. I find the caravan could do with a DEEP clean, it has a 'cat lick' but very obvious from one week to the next what has not been cleaned properly from mirrors, showers etc (I know this as I have left finger prints just to see )

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT A NUMBER ON THIS CARAVAN. IT MAKES IT INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO FIND, I dread to think when dark weather starts earlier in day people will not find this van. When people book please also note the owner of the van gives you to keycode to access the keys at the very last minute, keep checking your booking.com app for a message from owner.

Scam

DON’T BOOK THIS STAY!!! I turned up at the property and was told that the property isn’t available due to damages from previous guests. I then stated that booking.com policy is that they need to book me somewhere else and their response was ‘I’m reading too much into it’. 2 weeks later I haven’t received a refund even though I’ve contacted customer service and they said the owner cant confirm that I didn’t stay.

No heating no hot water I was with 2x 6 year olds we had to come home after only 1 night poor kids frozen.broken sofa in main lounge
