If you want an advice you must look for another place, this was the worst experience i had in my life

I don’t like nothing, these days was similar an nightmare.

The house was very dirty, the facilities was terrible, the shower was cold and We needed to pay for the electricity, so a completely absurd.

Disgusted

No hot water, boiler had a fault. Damp throughout with dehumidifier in bedroom. Only 8p electric on key card after driving 5 hours to get there, we couldn't shower or heat the place and we had a funeral to attend. Left the property within half hour and booked elsewhere at extra cost. We sat for half hour freezing trying to make alternative arrangements. All furniture was damp. Couldn't lock the door on departure as didn't work and was open when we arrived, completely insecure.

Awesome little spot!

The chalet was spotless and in a fantastic location for exploring. Comfy beds and everything we needed for cooking etc. The onsite restaurant was fab, too.

Close to Caernarfon

There was everything I needed for a self-contained holiday house. The owner was very helpful when I had problems.

The bathroom/toilet door doesn’t close - it gets caught on the floor part way through. It was difficult to lock the front door at times. Having to purchase electricity cards was a bit odd but out of the owner’s control. If there were more cleaning wipes I could have cleaned a bit.

We couldn’t find the chalet as there was no map sent to us so we asked the cafe on the site where it was.

I didn't give zero start because the holiday park is really nice and the location too

The chalet is in a very nice holiday park. On paper there are a lot of facilities and activities but these are not available year round - we were looking forward to use the swimming pool but this was already covered and not available. If you like greasy spoon type of caf, there is one on the site. There is also a small shop and a pub - we didn't eat there but it looked decent.

The chalet is neglected and dirty: when we got in there was some fluff on the floor and what looked like squashed worms. One kitchen cupboard had silverfish running amok - needless to say I didn't open the rest of the cupboards and we ended up not using the kitchen, not even for a cuppa. There were crumbs on the sofa and on the armchair. The shower is barely warm and you cannot increase the temperature: health and safety according to the "welcome email" - right. The double bed was comfortable AND you need to bring your own bedding and towels. I complained to the host about the description being misleading as this information is not in the chalet introduction, you have to click on the FAQ - so not really pointing this out. Other chalets for rent clearly state this in the front page and the reason I booked this one was precisely the bedding. We found this out when already travelling so had to stop and buy some from a shop. The electricity situation is also not clear: it looks like you need to buy cards (I guess from the shop in situ) if the card runs out. We had enough, mainly because we barely stayed there. The bathroom door does not shut - it gets stuck half-way through. It was ok for us (a couple) but the chalet is marketed as sleeping up to 6 people - they need to sort that one out. Floor mouldings are coming off the floor, the toilet seat was broken. It's a small "flat" it would barely take two hours to clean it inside out but it looked like the cleaner had not been for weeks.

The chalet was clean and homely with everything you need we would like to return in summer when the weather is warmer and the swimming pool open Check out the Sopna Indian restaurant 5 minutes away excellent food and service

Lovely, cosy and great location for walks in Eryri

Lovely and cosy, well presented and clean. Fab location for accessing the Eryri national park. Very friendly staff in the onsite shop and cafe too.

Not a massive issue but just need to remember to take your own sheets to make up the beds and although there was plenty of electric, having to top up at the shop that closes relatively early was a bit of a concern. Thankfully it didn’t run out.

It was comfortable and had everything we needed . We were not there long as we met friends on the Tuesday night and had to leave at 6 AM on the Wednesday as we were going on a coach trip. Thank you very much - we enjoyed our stay 😃

inadequate management of difficulties by the owner

The apartment and the place are nice for up to 4 people but not suitable for six people.

The owner told us to pay 40 pounds for sheets and towels. Furthermore, when we arrived, we discovered that the sofa bed wasn't designed to accommodate two people because it was broken. The owner told us we had to keep it that way. We were forced to send two people to sleep in another hotel at our expense. The owner knew the sofa bed was broken and didn't notify us.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location.

Location is beautiful. Chalet is really lovely and a great size.

It could do with a deep clean, the windows inside and out would benefit from a proper clean. The bathroom is quite outdated and needs an update. Toilet seat isn’t attached properly too!

It is in a quiet setting yet close to the destination of interest.

I’ve never use holiday home before, I didn’t realise I have to provide my own bedding cover, towel, toilet rolls . Good job I was still at home after I have booked so I could prepare before I set off. I’m not sure if I could cancel the booking because I don’t have bedding with me?

Great chalet in stunning location!

Lovely chalet in a great location. Didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked good! My dad had a take out meal from the cafe which was delicious and he’s fussy! Brilliant TV!

Bathroom door difficult to shut and toilet seat needs bit of repair. Only 1 teaspoon but I know from a relative who rents out accommodation that you could buy hundreds of teaspoons and they’d all disappear after a few people had rented!

Nothing was dirty have 35 photos proving this. Health and safety risk with the broken light switch. Pubic hair in shower. Long girls hair in shower we was a group of lads so not ours. Dirty beds and dirty sofa. Fag butts left out and this was after we was told the cleaners had been. We ended up coming 6 hours home.

Value for money and host is amazing

"I had an amazing stay! The hostwere fantastic super helpful and friendly. They even answered my calls in the middle of the night to sort things out, which was a lifesaver. The location is perfect for exploring North Wales; every popular spot is just a short drive away, about 30-45 minutes max. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to visit North Wales. Best experience ever!"

Exceptional chalet!!

Amazing chalet! By far the best cabin we've stayed in in North Wales stayed in 20+ over the last few years! Sofas were extremely comfy, Internet was VERY good, TV was a good size and modern Samsung! The beds were so nice! Cannot believe how good value this was!!!! Can't comment on the site pool or bar as we didn't use them but the site is perfect for couples or family etc! Honestly cannot recommend Chalet 130 enough! Thank you to the owners!

Was exactly what we needed for a night, Afternoon checkout time which was perfect for us and give us enough time. Beds were comfy, chalet was clean. Could not fault it.

Lovely couple of days stay, perfect week chalet and great host,

Great couple of days staying, walked into town each time and back, an easy 25 mins. Great Climb at Mount Snowdon. Chalet perfect for a mini stay with everything you need to hand and really clean, Give Michelle a raise lol. wasnt expecting it to be so modern. Thank you for speedily resolving an issue raised. Great value for money, go mid week its nice and quiet in town full of locals and good humour. Food at the Black Boy is exceptional. then head down to the Anglesey bar for some local folk music.

Nothing in the chalet, its perfect for a short stay. More paths on the road into town, great bus service though.

The shower hose was liking and shower water was impossible to adjust to nice hot water. So after long hike shower experience was unpleasant.

Peaceful Stay, Great Location, but Bring Your Own Bedding and Power Card

The chalet was very quiet and peaceful, making it a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable with a good-quality mattress, and the space was clean and well-kept. The kitchen was compact but well-equipped with all the essentials, including a microwave, kettle, toaster, and oven. The holiday park itself was a nice bonus—with a small shop on-site and a good pub-restaurant just a short walk away, it made things convenient without needing to drive. Great for a short stopover.

It was a bit inconvenient that we needed to bring our own bedding and towels, which isn't ideal when travelling light. The pillows were also quite large and uncomfortable. Another thing to note is that you may need to purchase a prepaid card for electricity, with a minimum cost of £5—non-refundable even if unused. It would be helpful if this was mentioned more clearly in the booking description.

Too many misses ... not an enjoyable holiday stay

Location is good with good access to fuel station & supermarkets, also holiday park has a good scenic with river access Now coming to the dislikes 1. Shower not dispensing hot water may be the mixer cold part leaks to the hot zone , basically it is broken & also the shower was also broken 2. No foot mats in all the house also in bathroom water all over the floor if coming out of shower 3. No duvet cover, no mattress cover & no pillow cover . Even booked earlier the info on non availability was given just 3 days before the arrival, where are already in between the trip. No towels either 4. Heaters were not effective Even in spring time , good luck who comes in cold days

Fantastic holiday and great hosts

It was lovely clean and welcoming with everything we needed for a great stay the kids really liked it even my eldest who's a teenager enjoyed his stay and was impressed with the chalet. The host is absolutely lovely and so friendly and helpful too. We can't rate our stay highly enough

OK stay but needs attention to detail and cleaning was sub par

The rung on bunked broken which meant I had to jump on and off the top bunk and eas dangerous for my 3 year old if she wanted to come up to my bunk. Lights not working/rusty stand lamp which had a burning smell when turned on (so kept off) Bathroom plugs over flow. Tv un bedroom was filthy and didn't work Remote for living room tv needed new batteries. Hoover was filthy dirty and stunk.

Good value staycation.

I loved the pre stay communication. It made everything a lot easier. Its a lovely quiet location, within a mile of the wedding venue.

Shower didn't drain to quickly, which meant you had to be quick. Ok for us lads, but the girls struggled.
