pleasant apartment, but was very let down

very spacious, clean

parking was horrendous, had to park miles away entrance to building was not clean, not a good first impression not adequate kitchen utensils, one small pot that was burnt, 2 slice toaster not suitable if 4 people staying and no wardrobes in one bedroom,

The apartment was very clean, complete, with all facilities, very good location and Dan the host, is very attentive and friendly, I will back for sure!

The only problem is that the intercom doesn't work; since there were four of us, someone had to go downstairs every time to open the door, because there's only one key.

The apartment was very spacious and in a great central location, close to everything. There were plenty of tissues and towels provided, which was very convenient. The owner was helpful and always quick to respond whenever we needed assistance.

We experienced an issue with the water during our stay. While the owner did reach out and explain the procedure, we unfortunately didn’t have enough time to resolve it and ended up having to shower with cold water. The property could benefit from having more mirrors and utensils, and it definitely needs a more thorough cleaning between stays. The communal area was also very dirty, though this seemed to be more of a general issue rather than the fault of the owner.

The beds were hardly fit for purpose, the windows absolutely filthy, and the communal area was also very dirty. It was a horrible experience.

So bad, we left after 6 hours and booked somewhere else.

The flat was nice in terms of layout. Entry was easy and host was excellent communicator.

The location was awful. Noisy neighbours shouting late into the night. The communal areas were disgusting. Brown liquid thrown over the walls, carpets and paintwork filthy. We got there late on our first night and left first thing next morning. Didn’t stay the second night and booked a hotel nearby. Beds were flimsy, sofa had feet missing. Overall, really disappointing and had to double up on costs.

Good overall

The apartment was very spacious. The tv was not tuned but could on demand service if you logged into your own account… just remember to log out of Your accounts.

The main door had was fully open. Wasn’t secure but the host advised this was due to changing the locking system of the main door. The communal area was not very attractive and could do with a clean. Also a random mattress near the entrance to the apartment. Also the outside area and communal bin areas was very dirty like they hadn’t been cleaned or emptied in a while.

Superb location for a visit to Burnley

Superb communication from 'Dan' who explained in great detail everything about the accommodation and where to find the keys to the apartment. The local council made it restricted parking outside the apartment so Dan put me in touch with the owners of a private car park across the road who charged me £5 for 2 nights.

A bit of a hill back to the apartment from the centre of town but its only a 10 minute walk.

It’s was like being in your own home, so comforting.

It was really not an issue but if I was forced to say anything I would say some of the fire doors seemed to like snap shut when someone on another floor would open their fire door leading to the apartments if you understand but like I said, a very very minor conscience.

I didn’t stay at the property because it was extremely uninviting and felt unsafe for me and my son to stay in.

It was difficult to find, parking was scarce and there were people hanging around the entrance to the apartments. The exterior did not match the pictures on booking.com

Ideal location for exploring this section of the Leeds-Liverpool canal.

Close to the canal which we were walking along.

No washing machine or dishwasher which wasn’t a huge issue as we weren’t there for more than 5 days.

Nice apartment. Had everything I needed to cook and clean. Nice big windows. Nearby a big Tesco. Driving distance from a lovely park. Driving distance from Hebden Bridge. Was able to enjoy my staycation well enough. Would come again.

The bathroom window doesn't easily close and so it can get quite cold in the bathroom. The bedroom closest to the living room is right near a quite busy road and so took a while to get used to the noise, to be able to sleep/relax. Or you can use white noise like I did. Seemed like the place has been newly renovated and so there is still quite a bit leftover dust/paint powder around the place. But after a quick once-over it was decent. The comms unit was still being done and so to order food to the place, you have to communicate with the external company and go down and get it yourself. Or like myself you will find your food sitting outside for an unknown amount of time. Not exactly in an area where one would feel safe to walk around alone at any time of the day or night. But this is not to say that the stay was bad, just a few things to be mindful of is all.

It was quiet, in a central location next to the canal. It was a spacious apartment sensitively and stylishly converted in a former mill. Extremely comfortable beds in two bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen , lovely bathroom.

Totaal niet het geld waard

De ruime kamers plus huiskamer. Fijne grote smart tv, goede wifi. En fijne en snelle communicatie met eigenaar.

Slechte bedden. Veren en je rolt naar het midden. Hele vieze oven. Voorkant van het gebouw leek wel een bouwval en entree lag vol troep. Slot van hoofdingang was kapot waardoor men zo binnen kon komen door maar een klein zetje tegen de deur te geven. In appartement was het vies van stof en schimmel bij de ramen. Hele gladde vloer in badkamer. Op 1 slaapkamer kwam het vocht door de enkel muur. Hoekbank was door gezeten. Je moet vaak draaien met sleutel van de deur van het appartement voordat het slot werkt. Kapstok, rekjes van zoon goedkoop materiaal dat het bij het minst geringe omvalt. Met rolgordijn van slaapkamer was ik ook aan het stoeien. Want met elke poging om het op te rollen donderde het naar beneden. Dus maar naar beneden gelaten. Was ook te kort waardoor ik de ochtend het zonlicht meteen binnen kwam😞.
